Can't Win Me Back (Isabella and Nathan)

Chapter 60

Isabella turned her head with a bright smile. "Theo, you arrived just in time. Thanks to your commotion, Nathan will finally be forced to make the decision to divorce me." Theodore replied, "I'm afraid it won't be that simple. The Prince may deeply love your Sis, but he refuses to divorce you no matter what..."

He fell into a moment of hesitation.

Isabella, suddenly realizing, understood that Theodore didn't understand matters of love. Complaining to him about her marital problems felt like being at a dead end.

To her surprise, Theodore showed a level of maturity beyond his years, continuing to analyze the situation. "Sis, Nathan is a businessman. For him, the decision to maintain or dissolve a marriage has nothing to do with emotions. He cares about profits. Keeping the marriage with you benefits him more than breaking it off. It's that simple."

Isabella was confused. "In his eyes, I'm just a useless, good-for-nothing. What purpose does it serve for him to keep me around?"

Theodore replied, "People who stand at the top won't allow themselves to have any stains on their reputation. You are the savior of his 'white moonlight.' He married you to repay you. If he divorces you now, it would only give him the reputation of crossing the river and demolishing the bridge. And... he's more afraid of people discovering that he deceived you into marriage and exploited a weak woman. Once that butterfly effect starts, his reputation will be ruined."

Isabella's eyes suddenly lit up. If she could ruin Nathan's reputation, she would have no regrets in this life.

"He's a sly old fox. There's no way he'd let himself fall into a trap."

Theodore's gaze deepened. "Sis, don't worry. Even if he's a thousand-year-old fox, I'm a ten-thousand-year-old demon. If he tries to play tricks with me, I'll make sure he loses miserably." Although Isabella didn't know what kind of tricks Theodore had up his sleeve, she instinctively believed he could defeat Nathan.

"Theo, I'm so glad to have you."

Her gratitude to Theodore was clear in her voice, though unspoken.

Theodore, with a pained expression, said, "Sis, from here on out, you'll need to play your part well. Make him choose between paying off the debts or divorcing you."

Isabella immediately got into character. "Young Master Sanchez, my 'selling contract' is with you. I'm at your service from now on."

Theodore chuckled, "In that case, I'll have to trouble my 'Secretary Moore.""

They exchanged a smile.

Isabella knew that her divorce from Nathan wouldn't be resolved anytime soon, but she couldn't let her career fall into disarray. Therefore, she decided to focus on her work.

"Theo, I want to move the brand I started in Milan, 'A Lifetime With You,' to the capital."

She looked directly into Theodore's eyes, her gaze clear and sincere. "I want to collaborate with you."

She knew exactly what Theodore would become in the future, and without hesitation, she added a condition: "The bulk of the earnings will go to you."

Theodore was momentarily stunned, stammering, "A Lifetime With You?"

He suddenly smiled gently, "Sis, how do you want to collaborate?"

Isabella understood that Theodore possessed an extraordinary business mind. Being close to him was like securing a long-term source of income.

She lowered her own benefits with no hesitation. "Theo, I'm Master Jasmine's first disciple, so I could be the Design Director of the company. As for expanding the market, that will be your responsibility. As for the profits, I'm happy to take just 10%." Theodore leaned forward with a devilish smile. "Sis, 'Thea with you'-with my name in it-why should we split the profits so clearly? All the earnings are yours. I'll make you the legal representative, and I'll bear all the risks for you." Isabella was stunned.

Unable to help herself, she reached out and rubbed his head. "I must have picked up a big fool back then."

Theodore burst into laughter.

He then took Isabella to a tasteful villa. As they got out of the car, an unexpected group of paparazzi appeared and began snapping photos at them with loud clicks.

In a moment of quick thinking, Isabella turned and began supporting Theodore instead.

Her expression was tense, worried that unscrupulous media might twist the narrative and fabricate stories about her and Theodore.

Her reputation was already tarnished; she cared little for further disgrace. However, Theodore's integrity was a different matter entirely.

Theodore caught all the subtle changes in Isabella's demeanor, silently admiring her perceptive and empathetic nature.

Glaring at the paparazzi with a

sharpness far beyond his eighteen

years, his eyes darkened, filled with an almost eerie depth. "That scoundrel Guillermo-is he really so desperate to manipulate events and secure his position as heir to the Sanchez family?"

Isabella was puzzled. "He's got the upper hand over us for now. Theodore, if Guillermo uses this as an excuse to trouble you, do you have a plan?" Theodore replied calmly, "Sis, don't worry about me. Someone like Guillermo, who can't even think straight, is no match for me."

Isabella exhaled, relief flooding her features. No matter what Theodore said, she believed in him wholeheartedly.

After escorting Isabella to his private villa, where Ava was already waiting to welcome her, Theodore returned home.

There, he was promptly summoned to the study by old Sanchez.

Theodore, visibly angered, found his grandfather speaking with a sharp edge in his tone.

"Your brother told me you've taken in Madam Hill and, in doing so, have offended Nathan. Is that true?"

Casting a disdainful glance at

Guillermo, who stood nearby, Theodore's lips curled into a mocking smirk. "Quite the efficient messenger, aren't you? Quicker than a carrier pigeon. Maybe I should put you to better use next time.

Guillermo was rendered speechless.

"Yes, Grandpa," Theodore admitted freely, his tone unshaken.

old Sanchez's disappointment was palpable as he issued a stern warning. "You're just stepping into society and already making enemies. It's reckless and unwise." Unfazed, Theodore replied, "Grandfather, Guillermo and I are destined to clash eventually "

old Sanchez's gaze turned sharp, the ambition in his young grandson's words catching him off guard and filling him with unease.

"But not now!" old Sanchez interrupted with an angry roar, finding his grandson incorrigible.

"Send Madam Hill back immediately."

"I refuse." Theodore's defiance was written all over his face.

Raising an eyebrow, old Sanchez

questioned, "I hear Madam Hill isza

useless good-for-nothing, even

looked down upon by Nathan

himself. What use could you

possibly have for her?"

With a sly grin, Theodore replied, "Grandpa, never judge without understanding the full picture."

Narrowing his sharp eyes, old Sanchez probed, "What do you mean by that?"

Theodore said confidently, "Grandfather, just wait and see. Isabella is destined to shine. When she does, you'll understand her true value."

Caught by the steely determination in his grandson's expression, old Sanchez paused, lost in thought.

After weighing the situation, he relented with a measured tone.

"If she indeed possesses such extraordinary potential, then keeping her around is no issue. Just make sure not to escalate your conflict with Nathan."

"Rest assured, Grandfather," Theodore replied, a faint smile on his face. "I know how to balance priorities." old Sanchez nodded. "That's the way it should be."
