Never Tired of Mr. Leon's Love

Chapter 624

Back in the master bedroom, Matthew could not stand the smell on himself, so he decided to take a shower before bed.

Meanwhile, Lucy went straight to bed from exhaustion. She had already gone to bed later than usual that night, but her sleep got interrupted too.

When Matthew got out of the shower, he saw that Lucy was already asleep, so he quietly turned off the lights and lay down beside her, holding her close as he drifted off to sleep.

...

Early the next morning, Matthew and Lucy got up to start their day.

Lucy cautiously opened the guest room door and saw that Hudson and Koven were still sleeping. Not wanting to disturb them, she headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for them. Meanwhile, Matthew went to the study to grab a book and settled down in the living room to read.

Lucy decided to make a simple breakfast of eggs, bread, and milk.

In the guest room, Hudson was the first to wake up. He looked around the unfamiliar room, then turned and saw Koven lying next to him, their faces almost touching. Startled by the sight before him, he quickly shook Koven awake. Annoyed by the shaking, Koven reluctantly opened his eyes and grumbled, "Who are you? What do you want? Ugh."

When he opened his eyes, he saw Hudson squinting back at him. Koven sat up and rubbed his eyes, realizing that this was not his home and neither was it Hudson's. Looking around the unfamiliar room, he glanced over at Hudson. "Let's go out now." Hudson got up but was stopped by Koven grabbing his arm.

"Were we kidnapped or something?" Koven asked cautiously.

Hudson rolled his eyes and said, "This is Matthew's place. I called him to pick us up yesterday. I don't know what happened after that, but I'm sure this is his house. Relax and get up now!"

Relieved, Koven put on a pair of slippers before heading outside.

With disheveled hair and unwashed faces, the two of them walked out and saw Matthew sitting in the first-floor living room. Lucy was in the kitchen.

Hearing noises, Matthew turned to look at them, and his gaze immediately darkened.

On the other hand, Lucy happily beckoned them to come and eat. Upon hearing that there was food, Hudson and Koven rushed downstairs.

Still angry, Matthew threw the newspaper onto the table and walked to the dining room.

Once the four of them were seated, they looked at each other in silence. To break the awkward tension, Lucy said, "Let's eat before it gets cold Mr. Xender, Koven, both of you had a lot to drink yesterday, so you should have some food to soothe your stomachs."

Both of them quickly nodded and thanked her.

Then, they turned to look at Matthew, who was eating silently with an ominous expression. He did not say a word throughout the meal.

Every time Koven met Matthew's gaze, he felt a chill down his spine.

"Err, we didn't do anything out of line yesterday, right?" Hudson finally asked Matthew.

Koven also looked at Matthew expectantly as he was confident in his ability to handle himself after drinking.

Hudson could already tell by

Matthew's expression that it was not going to be good news, but he could have never imagined what he was about to see...
