Chapter 114 Alaric's Son Resemble Stellan's Son
Seeing Alaric's urgency, Cormac told him exactly what Galatea had said.
"Can you relax now?" Cormac asked afterward.
Alaric stubbornly replied, "I never cared in the first place. Alright, you can leave now. You have no business here left."
"How ungrateful," Cormac complained before adding, "However, I really need to go now. My mom had a strong reaction after chemo, so I need to go back and check on her."
"Say hello to Aunt for me. I'll go see her after I'm discharged." Alaric hadn't visited Mrs. Ravenna since she was discharged.
"You take care of yourself first. Stay here for a week," Cormac said before leaving.
It was certainly torture for Alaric to stay here for a week. However, he really felt uncomfortable this time and couldn't even work properly, not to mention he was also worried about Caspian.
He originally planned to ask Cormac to take care of Caspian for him, but he couldn't do that since Mrs. Ravenna was also ill. As a result, he called Silas.
"Don't worry, Mr. Alaric. Just focus on taking care of yourself; you don't need to worry about Caspian," Silas said.
After the incident where Silas lost Caspian at the hospital, he was extra cautious about Caspian's matters. After ending the call, he looked at the time and decided to leave early to pick Caspian up. Just as he was about to leave, he saw Ambrose walking out of the elevator.
"Hello, CEO Ambrose."
"Where's Mr. Alaric? Has he returned from his business trip?" Ambrose asked. "I have some work to report."
"He hasn't returned yet."
Seeing Ambrose, Silas had a few thoughts. Alaric had asked him to prove whether Ambrose was blood-related to Harry and Elisa, but even after so many days, he still had no solutions. Now that Ambrose himself was here, he could give it a try. "Where did Mr. Alaric go for the trip? Why has he been gone for so long?" Ambrose asked.
"Oh, he went abroad to discuss a project with a client. I'll let you know when he returns," Silas replied.
"Alright, then. Thank you, Silas," Ambrose politely said before asking, "Are you going out?"
"Yes, since Mr. Alaric is on a business trip and can't pick Young Master up, he instructed me to go instead," Ambrose replied.
Young Master? Was it Caspian?
Ambrose also wanted to follow suit as he asked, "I haven't met Caspian yet, but I've always wanted to meet him. If you don't mind, can I go with you?"
"Of course," Silas agreed. It'd give him a chance to get something from Ambrose's body that could be used for DNA testing.
The two of them walked out together. He offered Ambrose a cigarette while saying, "Want one?"
"No, I don't smoke. Thank you," Ambrose politely declined.
Silas awkwardly retrieved it, realizing he wouldn't be able to get a cigarette butt with Ambrose's saliva on it.
The two of them walked out of Nexus Innovations, Silas leading the way while Ambrose's car followed behind.
They at the school parking lot and stopped, both getting out of their cars one after the other. They had arrived early, and school wasn't even over.
"Mr. Alaric is so busy with his usual work, but he picks up his children by himself?" Ambrose asked.
"As long as the young master doesn't live at school, Mr. Alaric will always come to pick him up," Silas replied.
"In that case, Mr. Alaric is truly a rare and good father."
"I have nothing to say about that when it comes to Mr. Alaric."
Ambrose smiled at this, looking toward inside the school. The children had already finished school by now.
"Young Master!" Silas waved his hand when he saw Caspian coming out.
When Ambrose looked at Harry, he froze. This was Alaric's son?
Wasn't this Stellan's son? The twins Denny showed him last time looked identical to Alaric's son.
What was going on?
"Young Master, this is Uncle Ambrose. He's your father's business partner and came to pick you up with me today," Silas introduced.
Hearing this, Ambrose quickly regained his composure. He observed Harry closely, still feeling a bit shocked. Weren't they the same child? If that wasn't the case, then why did Alaric's son resemble Stellan's son so much? "Hello, Uncle Ambrose." Harry had never seen Ambrose before, but he politely greeted him.
Ambrose smiled fondly at Harry and said, "Hello, Caspian. Nice to meet you."
"If I make you happy, then I'm also happy." Harry smiled.
Ambrose lovingly ruffled his hair and then turned to Silas. "I really like Caspian, and I want to have dinner with him tonight. I can take him home afterward, so is that okay?"
"CEO Ambrose wants to take the young master out for dinner? This..." Silas was hesitant. Caspian was his boss's child, so...
"It's fine. How could I reject someone's dinner invitation?" Harry interjected before Silas could call Alaric, "I'll go home obediently after dinner."
"Yes, I'll take good care of Caspian. After dinner, I'll send him home. If you're still worried, you can track my phone."
"That's unnecessary," Silas said. He looked at Harry, who was eager to go and then thought of how Ambrose was Alaric's business partner. They were in Arizona, so Ambrose wouldn't act recklessly. "Alright, then. Please take care of the young master, CEO Ambrose," Silas instructed Harry again, "Young master, make sure to call me once you're home."
Harry replied, "Okay."
After that, he casually looked at Ambrose and said, "Shall we go, Uncle Ambrose?"
"Okay," They got in the car together.
After getting in, Harry looked around and said, "A little golden man with wings statue, and a top-quality Rolls-Royce; Uncle Ambrose must be very rich."
"You're embarrassing me. I'm far from being as rich as your dad, who is now my benefactor. Whether I can make a fortune in the future depends entirely on him," said Ambrose.
"My daddy isn't someone who'd easily become someone's benefactor. Anyone who can earn money from him must be quite impressive," said Harry, leaving Ambrose surprised. Despite his young age, Harry spoke quite eloquently. "I want a seafood feast, but the place I like is a bit expensive. Would you take me there?" Harry asked.
"I'm the one who invited you, so I'll naturally take you wherever you want. Price isn't an issue," Ambrose replied.
"Alright, thank you, Uncle Ambrose."
Ambrose smiled faintly and looked out the window, following Harry's gaze. His smile gradually disappeared as he observed Harry, finding it increasingly unbelievable.
What could be behind this? Whatever it may be, as long as it's related to Stellan, he will definitely investigate and find out!
