Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 354

The man wasn't exactly gentle, and Selena was still getting used to everything, wincing in pain as her beautiful features scrunched up. Frustrated, she scratched at his neck with her fingernails, leaving faint marks. Sadly, her nails didn't do much damage, and instead of deterring him, it seemed to spur Everett on even more.

He glanced at Selena, noticing her mix of anger, annoyance, and a hint of vulnerability. Her eyes were misty, and the corners of his mouth curled into a deeper smile.

"Mrs. Bennett, let me ask you one more time, are you in or out, hmm?"

He lowered his voice, making it both smooth and enticing, a tone that could easily pull someone in.

Selena wasn't quite sure if he was asking about being together again or having another baby, or maybe both. But whatever it was, her answer was still a firm no.

Her lips moved to respond, but before she could get the words out, Everett seemed to predict her refusal, clearly not wanting to hear it.

With a touch of reprimand, he became more intense, like a storm, and Selena felt like a little boat caught in a raging sea, tossed about with no control.

The waves lifted her up high, then crashed her down, leaving her dizzy, her head tilting back, mouth slightly parted, her vision blurry as she stared up at the chandelier.

The pendants of the chandelier swung in her view, and soon enough, her eyes were red and misted over.

She couldn't quite tell if it was hot water on her skin or her own tears.

In the end, she pounded desperately on his back, trying to stop him, but when Everett decided on something, who could really resist?

A wave of overwhelming sensation flooded over her, and even for the seasoned Everett, there were moments of blankness.

During Selena's mid-pregnancy, he had sought her company, but mindful of her health and the baby, she was often frail, getting sick and needing hospital care. So, he had held back, focusing on her comfort and unable to fully let loose. This time, it was a release that had been a long time coming, as if all the tension and disagreements between them had suddenly melted away.

Indeed, passionate love was one of the best stress relievers.

Especially a love that left you completely satisfied.

Selena, on the other hand, wasn't faring as well. Her fair skin was

marked with bruises, her legs trembled, her eyes and nose were red, and even her lips were swollen from being kissed and bitten

Without his arms around her waist, she could barely stand.

Catching her breath, Selena's voice was rough, "I need meds, give me my medicine!"

As she spoke, she tried to push him away, wanting to get her medication.

Everett acted like he hadn't heard, looking down at Selena's stubborn expression, not as angry as before.

"Mrs. Bennett, since you're not worn out, let's go one more round."

Selena froze, then slapped him across the face.

"You brute!"

Her voice was soft, but every word was clear, like she wanted to tear him apart.

Everett leaned down and kissed her again.

"If it makes you feel better, go ahead and curse, but I'd suggest saving some energy for later," he said, his

tone tender even as his actions were

firm.

His large frame nearly engulfed her small body from behind, his broad shoulders and narrow waist, his back muscles enticing and full of tension.

After the earlier whirlwind, he now slowed things down deliberately, moving with care against her.

Even though he knew every sensitive

hek

spot on Selena's body, he

approached this moment like it was their first time, occasionally

checking in to see how she fell ne

she was comfortable, if she liked it...
