Chapter 1161
After tracking down the first doll, the group decided it was time to hunt for the second. Flora strolled leisurely behind them, not in any particular hurry. If someone was making things easier, why not roll with it?
Luiz and the gang were oblivious to any shenanigans, still scouring around without a hint of suspicion. Suddenly, one of the seniors blurted out, "Oh gosh, I think I just stepped on something!"
Luiz, with his keen ears, whipped around and dashed over. There it was a doll with a tuft of green hair, lying innocently on the ground.
Luiz: "!!!"
They had stumbled upon another one already. Thanks to the relentless efforts of the senior folks, in under two hours, Luiz and his crew had nearly twenty dolls in their collection. At this pace, they might just make it out of the forest by tomorrow. "Are we being too obvious about helping them out?" one of the seniors questioned.
"Are we?" his buddy squinted, "I think we're playing it cool."
Then, with theatrical flair, he shouted, "Wow, what's that up there in the tree?"
Luiz and the others, now pros at this game, scrambled up the tree like nimble monkeys.
The first senior was left speechless. This act was a tad over the top.
"Why are we giving them such an easy ride?" The lone woman in the group wasn't happy. She remembered the struggle they faced during their own initiation test. Why should Flora have it any easier?
The test's difficulty had already been dialed down a notch. Yet, here they were, bending over backward to make it even simpler, which she couldn't stomach.
"Are they treating this test like a walk
in the park?" The woman scowled, "If Flora can't handle the heat, why
even bother with the initiation test? Might as well skip it altogether."

Sure, the princess of Lone Island had some serious clout. But did that mean everyone had to bow down to her?
If she couldn't hack it, staying in her comfort zone seemed more fitting than slogging it out at a medical base.
"Keep it down, don't let Flora hear you," her senior nudged her. Seeing Flora seemingly oblivious, he relaxed a bit.
"It's the higher-ups who want us to smooth things over for her. It's not really about Flora. Truth be told, since we hit the forest, Flora's been holding her own. We're all worn out, but she hasn't even broken a sweat or complained."
"I'm with you on that," another chimed in, trying to calm her down. "Let's just focus on our task. As for Flora, let it be. She's not someone we want to cross." She was surprised they were all sticking up for Flora, feeling a bit miffed.
So now giving shortcuts was okay?
She felt a pang of unfairness. During her own initiation test, she had been pushed to her limits, while Flora and her gang seemed to be on a joyride. Feeling a bit choked up, she said, "Still, giving shortcuts isn't right, why are you all siding with Flora..."
Her voice wavered.
The senior guys, not exactly experts at comforting, felt a bit at a loss: "It's not about siding with Flora.
Honestly who wouldn't want a shortcut? It's just that I don't have the clout to get one like Flora, if I were Flora, I wouldn't
