The Ultimate Husband

Chapter 5822

As the words rang through the air, the other chiefs also piped up.

"He's right. The Raksasa tribe must operate with a ruler either way."

"Please take up the duty, Head General, to look for her..."

The chiefs spoke across each other, making Tyson grow excited, but he did not let it show one bit.

The next second, Tyson waved a hand before speaking slowly. "Well, since the chiefs have insisted, I'll take up the duty. Send out orders to find the Empress at all costs."

As he spoke, Tyson gave instructions to the black armored army riders.

"Kokun had a secret alliance with the Skyway Association-a huge betrayal and act of treason. Put up notices everywhere and seal off his house. Arrest all his family and anyone close or related to him in the slightest with no exceptions." "Yes!"

Hundreds of black armored army riders headed for Kokun's house with gusto a few minutes later.

Over on another end, on a street in the trade district.

Darryl had combed the streets searching for news related to the Sunset Bow, but he had not gotten anything useful all morning.

It frustrated Darryl greatly.

He was unsure if he would be able to get any clues at all if it kept going the way it did. If only Monna had been there.

However, at the thought of Monna's ice-cold attitude, Darryl immediately changed his mind about returning to the palace. 'Oh? A noodle shop?'

It was already noon by then, and Darryl saw a noodle shop owned by someone from the Nine Continents and walked in immediately.

The shop was not too big, but business was booming.

Darryl found a table near a window and sat down. He glanced around him and saw that the customers in the shop were all wearing different clothes. They came from all around the world to do business within the Raksasa tribe. Just then, a waiter hurried over and asked, "What would you like to have, sir?"

Darryl pondered for a while before replying, "A bowl of beef noodles, please." "Alright."

The waiter called out in response before turning and heading for the kitchen.

Darryl fidgeted in boredom. He observed the people walking outside, once again thinking about what had happened in the morning.

How strange. Why did Monna's attitude toward him change so drastically overnight? Could something have happened?

Just as Darryl pondered to himself, the conversation he overheard from the table next to his caught his attention.

"Did you hear about the army riders capturing people on the streets the other day?"

"Of course heard it was Kokun

Elah's son. He brought some girlinto the forbidden grounds. Oh, and it seems like the change in the weather that day had something to do with them as well."

it

"Oh, I know all about that. I was there to witness it! Kokun's son held this bow that just... You just knew was expensive! Apparently, they refused to be caught and jumped into the Wild Deserted Secret Region..."

The voices rang over endlessly, and Darryl lit up at the mention of the last sentence.

Two people had escaped from the forbidden grounds and were holding a bow? Could that have been the Sunset Bow that Emperor Houyi had shot down the suns with?

At the thought, Darryl got to his feet hurriedly as he turned to ask the table next to him politely, "Excuse me, could you please tell me who that Kokun fellow you were talking about is?" Darryl's gaze was hopeful and urgent as he asked the question.

The table was quite miffed at being interrupted, and they looked Darryl up and down.

"Who are you?"

"You can't be from here, right? How do you not know who Kokun Elah is?"

Darryl smiled and nodded. "Ah, yes. I'm from the Nine Continents. Please educate me."

Seeing how polite Darryl was made the group of people drop their hostility, and one of them replied, "Ah, Kokan Elah's one of the Empress' most treasured right-hand-men. He's in charge of the trade industry in the Raksasa tribe."

Whew!

Darryl nodded to himself upon realizing the situation before asking again, "You said that the army riders chased down his son while he was holding a bow?"

The person nodded. "Yeah. Everyone on the street saw it with their own eyes. It's a pity he ran into the Wild Deserted Secret Region. He may not be alive by now." Darryl nodded and thanked them, returning to his table with no more questions.

It seemed like he would just have to see Kokun himself if he were to want to further understand the situation.

The noodles came shortly after, and Darryl wolfed them down before paying and exiting the shop. He asked a few people about Kokun's whereabouts and headed there immediately.
