Chapter 1641

Chapter 1641

Steward spoke, and Zebulon instantly replied with respect, "Then it's on you and Sean to teach her a

lesson."

He then turned to his own men, "Let's go!"

That girl falling into Sean's hands was just her bad luck!

Many of his guys scrambled to their feet, helping each other to make an exit.

Steward watched the girl with the cool demeanor and haughty air, and he couldn't shake the feeling

that there was something about her aura that reminded him of Sean. Did she also carry that same

dismissive arrogance in her eyes???

"You've messed with Mr. Collins's plans. Are you gonna walk out on your own, or shall my guys escort

you?"

"Get on with it; why waste words?" Arabella struck out quickly.

Steward felt the wind knocked out of him. He hadn't expected this girl to be so tough and brazen. Did

she not realize she was about to meet her maker?

His crew was nothing like Zebulon's rookie henchmen. Each of them here had been personally trained

by him.

Sean stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows, watching Arabella's agile moves, swift as a flash. In no

time, the lights in the room suddenly went out. When everyone's eyes adjusted to the darkness, the girl

had vanished.

It was Horace who had switched off the power, driving up to whisk her away.

Steward had never been bested by a girl before, and he walked into Room 1 with his tail between his

legs, his voice a notch quieter, "Mr. Collins."

Before he could report, Sean spoke lazily, "I saw it."

Steward hung his head, baffled at how skilled the girl was.

"Beaten by a girl. It’s such a shame"

Steward's face flushed. He wanted to say though she looked young, she was nearly as skilled as Sean,

but now he felt ashamed for excuses.

"That girl's got a background we don't know about; never seen moves like that. I'll have my people

track her down. And about Sam, even though he got away, I had him swallow a poison pill before he

came here tonight. He won't last the night."

"At least you did something useful," Sean turned to leave the room.

Steward hurried to keep up, "I'll have the place guarded, and if anyone resembling Felix shows up,

they'll be captured on the spot."

"Not necessary," Sean’s expression was bland, his voice insouciant, "he won't show up here again

anytime soon."

With such a commotion, especially with Sam's escape, he would sense the danger and wouldn't walk

into a trap. The clues they finally had were ruined by that girl, and Steward couldn't resigned to it.

The elevator doors dinged open. Sean's voice was casual, "Catch her, skin her alive."

"Will do!"

On the road, Horace drove like a madman, "Boss, you alright?"

"Could I be in trouble with those guys?"

"Of course not, boss. You're the one who even tamed Romeo." Horace snickered as he spoke, then

venturing, "Boss, I heard you and Romeo are an item, is that true?"

Arabella shot him a look, and Horace quickly straightened up, "I knew they were messing with me,

trying to get me scolded by you."

"They didn’t lie." Arabella suddenly said, “It’s true.”

Horace was stunned for a while, nearly missing a swerving truck. He hadn't expected the boss to

actually confirm it. It seemed the boss was quite taken with that man.

"What about the kid?" Arabella asked coolly.

"Took him to a private clinic. Doc says he's fine, and I've had someone send him and his mom back

home. It's a sad story, really. The kid's dad is a real beast, racked up a ton of debt, then sold them both.

Oh, and boss, those guys are a bit difficult to handle."
