The Fortune-Telling Heiress

Chapter 317

Chapter 317

"Luden, you're amazing! Teach me some tricks!" the man exclaimed. "I don't have a house, a car, or even a girlfriend."

Luden Cooper puffed up with pride. "Sure! Once I'm married to her and everything is settled, I'll share my secrets." He then bragged about several things he did to win over his girlfriend. "Isn't that silly?" the man replied.

"You know, I've never spent much on her. I crafted this tough, frugal image so that she'd feel too guilty to ask me to buy expensive things. She's the one buying me designer shoes and watches!" The man laughed. "Women are all the same-foolish."

"Let's go celebrate!" Luden suggested with a grin.

Suddenly, the door swung open, and Luden froze when he saw Kim standing there. "Darling..."

"Darling? Don't call me that! Do you think I'm stupid? Luden, you jerk! I could kill you!"

The camera shook violently as Kim dropped her sweet, lively demeanor and swung her bag at Luden's head.

Luden begged for mercy. "Darling, let me explain! You know I really love you!"

"You love my money and my house!" Kim huffed.

Luden attempted to smooth things over. "Darling, I could never love you just for your money or your house. I love you, and that's why I care about those things too! This house is haunted, but I still came here for you!"

Kim turned to the other man and smirked. "So, this is the expert you hired? No wonder he looks familiar! You're from the same hometown! You really should think about a career in showbiz!" She pointed at the two of them. "Get out!"

Luden attempted to explain himself, but Kim cut him off with a cold laugh. "If you don't leave, I'll call the police."

She pushed Luden and his friend outside, slamming the door behind them.

Turning around, Kim saw the talismans scattered around the living room and offerings that hadn't been cleaned up. The curtains were drawn, casting a dark and eerie shadow in the room.

A chill ran down her spine. She quickly pulled out her phone and anxiously looked at Madison. "Maddie, are you sure there's nothing in my house? I'm starting to feel a little scared!" Madison reassured her, "I've checked. Your place is perfectly clean. There's nothing there."

"Then, what about that photo?" Kim asked.

Madison thought for a moment and replied, "It's a mini projector. It should be in your living room. You should look for it."

As soon as Kim heard it was a projector, she started rummaging through the living room. Finally, she spotted a small projector on top of the bookshelf across the

room.

When she turned it on, an image of a long-haired woman in a red dress peeking out appeared.

Kim was left speechless.

The viewers in the livestream were equally stunned.

"I thought that ghost looked a bit familiar, but I didn't dare say it. Isn't that the character of a super popular ghost movie?"

"I noticed it too, but I hesitated to mention it!"

"That movie is years old! I can't believe they found that."

"Are scammers really this clever these days? They're even using images from ghost movies?"

"I have to admit, that photo is genuinely scary."
