It had already been about a month.... Since everything happened. Richard had narrated the whole incident to Sabrina when she'd woken up the next day sleeping next to him.

She immediately knew Emma had possessed her... But also, she was really pissed, with him especially. He'd shot her! He'd lied to her!

Yeah, her memories had come back, although she never told him. She had just two options now.

Forget everything and go back to Hermilton, or keep playing house till justice was served. Both options really left her depressed...

These days, all she did was stay in her room all day, counting the second, the minutes, the hours..... Attimes Richard came to her door acting nice..... But she just didn't know how to genuinely smile at him again. He'd told her he was going to question Donatelli at the party, direct questions usually triggered some kind of shock.

If her father was ever with him, he must have made something like a secret passage in his house, and if they could somehow get his house under suspicious and searched... The secret passage being discovered would make him a prime suspect. Her father designed underground tunnels... And the likes.

But now her memories were back... She wondered why he'd completely cancelled out the Timberlakes without her knowledge. Yes... He had a grudge with Donatelli Franchester, but why did he have to get her involved?

Had he ever actually wanted to help her or was it just for his selfish reasons?

Today, he was already out to work, but she'd been thinking.... If somehow... Just somehow... Richard had a secret passage in his house, where would it be?

In the library?.. in his mother's room?... In his room?

Hmmm... He did spend most of his time in his room....

***********

Two days ago...

"Ugh!", She frowns on discovering his door was locked. Back in Hermilton, she usually forgot her keys inside whenever her dad was gone for a trip without telling her...

'No on ever tells me anything!'

She wore two hairpins for the same reason.

After a little lock picking, the door opened and she stepped in.

Her eyes searched around the over organized room....

"If I was to have a secret passage, where would it be..?". She'd already surveyed the outside of the house. Directly below his room was the library, and directly beside the library, was a store room.

But from outside, she'd noticed a little difference in the distance compared to inside. Also going into both the library and the storeroom, she'd knocked a bit around the walls to discover the only shallow parts that gave a different sound were the parts which were meant to join the storeroom to the library.

Meaning... There was some space in between. The space however, was too small to be a room, but it was just big enough for someone to pass through.

Tracing that space upwards to his room, led to somewhere in his bathroom.

Now searching the bathroom, there was nearly nothing suspicious, till she'd started hitting the tiles to find a shallow spot. It took a while, but she discovered one at the far edge, beside the tub.

She tried pushing it, pulling it... But it wouldn't budge!

"Open sesame!", She whispered with frustration.

"Hmm... Maybe it has something like a button..."

It was around 11:13am, when I'd finally managed to sneak into his room. As usual, everything was perfectly arranged.

After seeing the layout once, I'd locked my door, thinking of leaving my body for a while.... But that was out of the question!.. what if Emma returned?

I'd almost completely forgotten that If I concentrate... I could pass through walls for a few seconds before becoming solid once more...

And Richard's room was just next to mine...

After checking nearly every suspicious place and finally managed to come across something...

By the wall beside the door, the paint looked a bit newer than other sides of the room. I knocked on it a bit... Then it opened halfway... There was a flat note inside...

It looked like a pretty average jotter, but why would he take the stress of hiding it if so?

It took about a twenty minutes, before I'd manage to scroll through and get the main points...

I'd unconsciously gasped a bit, realizing Richard was a killer....

Also, inside that little compartment in the wall, was a key...

I took it and dropped the book, deciding to thoroughly read it one day. Quickly taking the key, I ran to the tiled ground.... It took a while, but I managed to find the entrance. I was right!

There was a sort of ladder leading downwards... But it was all frightfully dark!

Gulping down some courage, I finally found myself stepping down the ladder....

It took about a minute or two of climbing, but I finally arrived at a medium sized room underground. There was another door which seemed to be chained up.

"I hope nothing terrifying is In there..."

But I wasn't stupid enough to go find out.

This room was mostly filled with documents..... And some shelves. Like some primitive archive.

There was a light bulb, more yellowish than white... Infact, this room seemed to have existed long before Richard!

The walls were cemented and it was a bit hard to breathe, and the choking smell of dust made me cough a little.

There were some documents on a desk beside the second door. It was something like a journal.... And the only words my eyes had seen were... "Willed to Richard my dear son?!"

He never did mention anything about his father, but the second name of the people who signed the contract made her rethink if he was Richard's actual father. Amon Berlin and Dorathy Berlin.

Trying not to scatter the things on the desk, Sabrina tried moving around to check for the origination of the house. His wealth was somewhat questionable.

It took about half an hour, but luckily, the shelves were neatly organised...

"The deed of the house". It was a dusty old bundle of documents, signed by Mrs Donatelli?!

I couldn't help but gasp a little, what business did he have with his archenemy's wife?

"Oh no!"

The rumbling of the ladder from outside was heard...."he's back already?!", I whisper in panic before fazing through the chained door at the far edge of the room without thinking... It was dark....I was young and stupid... But I'll never forget what I laid eyes on behind it....

The horror....
