Two months later...

"Surprise!" Ella giggled when I shouted and asked her what she was doing back home, I thought she was still out of the city. My former neighbor grabbed my hand and yelled out at Lena telling her that she was stealing me for much-needed girl talk.

"You have thirty minutes then you're coming down for dinner and yes Jacqueline you're having dinner with us," Lena yelled back at both of us as we walked past the kitchen and on our way upstairs. I had brunch with my in-laws hours ago and had a nice walk with the twins, and now I was surprised with Ella's arrival.

The day couldn't be more perfect.

I told Ella everything, I know I told her the short version already but she demanded the full version, down to the time when my mom decided to drug me out of the country.

"Aww, bestie... I missed you too," and she told me about her trips with Brice up until our half an hour was up then we headed downstairs for dinner.

"So, you're back for the wedding celebration?" Lena shot out her question that sounded more like a demand which made Ella winced and Brice gave her an I told you so look. I was smiling and my husbands were smirking, enjoying the trouble Ella was in for eloping with her famous author husband Brice Durant.

"Mom..." Ella whined like teenager which made Brice kiss her temple adoringly.

"Yes, we're here for the wedding celebration. We are both thankful that you're willing to make arrangements for our wedding party to honor our relatives and friends. And I thank you also for accepting me to pay for it, as a sincere apology for robbing you of the privilege to attend your only daughter's wedding ceremony."

"Oh, Brice, you always know what to say," Lena blushed and Ella rolled her eyes before giving him the stink stare, and my husbands couldn't hold off on their laughter any longer.

"Boys, just because you filmed the ceremonies doesn't mean you're off the hook. The first baby shower will be held here in this house. And Ella, will you be fitted into your dress a couple of sizes bigger in the next few months? I was thinking of a fall wedding celebration."

Lena looked at the couple with hopeful eyes, my mother-in-law didn't show her disappointment knowing that they couldn't attend their sons ceremony because of my parents' devious plan. They know now and accepted me as their own without looking back at my past.

"Ella, I think she knows," it was Brice's turn to smirk at her.

Lena gasped reading into his words, and when Ella announced her pregnancy our dinner was more lively than ever. But then of course Grady being the oldest and also the most immature when it comes to sibling rivalry, he just had to boast about my pregnancy.

"We're having twins!"

Lena let out a louder gasp, "Oh, my God Grady! can't you at least wait for a couple of minutes before your mom gets a heart attack for being too happy!" Lena looked surprisingly overwhelmed with our news and I have to rub her back to calm her down and gave my tattoed husband a death-defying glare.

Clark laughed and told us that he was very happy with both news and told everyone to start digging in, "I'm starving, I don't know about you pregnant ladies but I'm gunning on these ribs, and don't blame me if you get the skinny ones. Boys, you all get the overburnt ones, gotta give the best pieces to the baby mommas."

With that said the laughter and chatter died as we concentrate on our three-course dinner for the next hour.

"Oh, my God, we're going to have future playdates. Mmm... I can already imagine what kind of mom we'd be the second our babies head off to kindergarten." Ella giggled when we sit out on the porch while the guys were talking with the parents giving us much-needed time to catch up.

"I like our sister talk," I grinned wider at her.

"Oh, Jacqueline, I love you so fucking much, you know that, right?"

"I do..." I winked at her and then talked about what we have been doing in each other's absence.

Two hours later we were on our way to the penthouse, Ella and Brice stayed back having planned to spend a couple of days reconnecting with the parents and discussing their wedding party. She made a promise that she was going to visit me at the twins' penthouse for more endless sister talk.

I was deep in my thoughts, almost sleepy between the twins when Grady picked me up from the sofa taking me to our bedroom and Percy followed.
