The Billionaire Daddies

Chapter 27. Keeping the feelings

No amount of shopping can make me forget Though I need to, badly.

- Jacqueline

Jealousy does not look good on me. The brothers were busy with work, Grady was flying out to New York while Percy have meetings and more meetings scheduled until dinner time.

The feeling was... eh, I don't even want to think about it. I didn't know what to do in their multi-million dollar penthouse after coming back from campus, currently bored while my mind kept on drifting back to the twins. So, I decided to go shopping, which gets boring quickly, then I texted Kayne for a meeting at our favorite coffee place.

My security guy is still following me, he's sitting a couple of tables from me trying to blend in with his surroundings. I let him be, I know he's probably reporting my boring activities back to the twins and I was okay with that, I was feeling much better knowing I have someone that looks out for me since the last incident.

So there I was sitting in a half-crowded coffee shop, with too many shopping bags under my table. I watched people around me, sipping on my double espresso hot caramel mocha macchiato with extra foamy stuff and more than needed chocolate drizzle.

"Hey, babe," my so-called college boyfriend greeted me with a peck on my cheek. His hand carried a tray of his ice coffee, my favorite blueberry cheesecake, and his panini sandwich. "Kayne," my face brightened seeing the cake that he bought me.

"Woah, tell me, who messed with my girl?" he demanded the second he saw my shopping bags. "You know I'll defend your honor right?" he asked deadpan, in all seriousness making me laugh at him. "Kayne, sit, let me enjoy my cake and coffee. I just need to rest, my feet are killing me."

"No shit, with those bags, you're practically lifting weights. Tell me is this about the guys I've met at my parents' thing?" his mouth was full of food, chewing, letting his jaw kill probably his third sandwich of the day. Athletes and their appetite, it's like they have an endless stomach. The man is always hungry, even when he's practicing and watching his intake Kayne would inhale his salad in seconds before starting his steam chicken variety.

"They're... I'm sort of, I..." hell, I didn't even know how to explain them to Kayne and I always tell him about my other guys. Though he didn't know about my profession as a sugar baby, he knows about them, he just didn't know that they were my sugar daddies. We were great that way, but now I'm speechless. Obviously not because of the sugar baby thing, but because of the funny jealousy feel. And I'm not liking it, not one bit, knowing that I'm being a sugar baby because of the casual thing. And jealousy is not casual. Not at all.

"Okay... okay, look, just know that I'm here for you, anything you need, anytime you need me you know I got your back right?" Kayne assured me as he put his hand on mine.

"I know, can we talk about you instead? I need to forget about my life for a little while." I stick a fork on my cake and scoop the cheesy delight and sighed when the creamy cake melts in my mouth.

"Right, hmph... kay, do you remember that last year I made out with a dude and I like it?"

"Hell, yeah, that's hot. Don't tell me you did it again?"

"Fuck yeah, last night. I blow the guy again... he's hot." The man whispered and I giggled at his mischievous secrecy.

"Damn Kayne, one of these days, your parents are going to flip. But hey, I'm not going to limit your excellent taste in women and now men." I stated as I take another big bite of my cake and then slowly indulge in my fattening coffee. "Being a bisexual is going to make me look like a greedy bastard." He chuckled without any hint of remorse on his face.

"Anyone, I know?"

"Meh, he's some sexy twink, tall, curly blond hair with a slender model-like body. You know... like one of those couture models, the skinny pale pouty looking dude. I think I've seen him on campus before, but I don't think we're in the same class." The man finishes off his panini and starts gulping down his ice coffee like he just got back from the desert with a loud slurp. "His name was Reid, didn't catch his last name though. And he probably didn't remember my name, the guy was high as a kite!"

"Oh, god Kayne, thank you! I needed this..." I giggled, almost teary. But then my phone buzzed from an incoming text and Kayne frowned when I visibly sighed and looked upset. "Who's that?"

"The brothers, let's do a dinner date tonight?" I was feeling a bit too attached to them, I figured I'll go out with Kayne and then go back to the penthouse. I can always tell the guys I'm having a dinner date with my college friends. Grady just texted that he'll be home tonight from New York and Percy will try to get back by dinner time. Both asked what time will I go back tonight.

I'm having dinner with my friends, don't worry about me, your security guy is still watching me. (Jacqueline)

There, I decided to be their good little sugar baby and texted my plan for tonight. Grady was the first to text back in our group chat.

Okay, just be back to the penthouse afterward. Miss you. (Grady)

The guy is too good with his words, but my mind recalls the hot model sitting on his lap when he was in Japan then I wondered if he has another model waiting for him in New York Thanks for letting me know, have fun I'll be back around nine. (Percy)

But not too much fun, okay? (Percy)

I replied with an I miss you too to Grady and Percy and ended the chat. I was sure that they were inserting the time to send a quick text in between their meetings for me. "You really like them huh?" Kayne asked when he saw my expression as I texted them back.

"Yeah, I guess. But you know me, I don't do serious."

"You know there's nothing wrong with wanting to be serious, right?" he shrugged but then told me it's just not for him. I laughed and he joins me with his deep manly chuckles.

"Hmm... why don't we go back to your place, unpack the lingeries in these bags," he winked sexily and continued, "take a shower, then hang out with the guys at the bar for dinner?" the bar that he suggested was his usual campus hangout, a sports bar where his teammates enjoy beers and watch games at the same time. Ugh... this guy is the sweetest, he knows I need crowds to lift my spirit and I need to shower and go get changed.

I looked at my security guy and he nodded in acknowledgment, understanding the need to still be incognito. He followed me as Kayne help me with my shopping bags and I get in his car. I know the guy will follow me, and I was right when I actually saw him a couple of cars behind us.

Two hours later we arrived, and the bar was crowded. Kayne was looking fresh from the shower he took at my place. My fake boyfriend was wearing the varsity t-shirt of his team that he had in his car. I was wearing my favorite worn-out pair of jeans and a designer top then pairing them with my most comfortable fuck me heels. There's something about expensive shoes that gets to the inner goddess in me, wearing them is like wearing your most lavish underwear in public. They boost my confidence in a weird kinky way, well... maybe it's just me.

"Dude! come here!" one of Kayne's teammates was calling from the bar, there was already a group of people, several of them have arms around their dates. Such a territorial caveman attitude, though at that moment I was imagining how it would feel like having one of the twins' arms around me, prancing me in public like I'm actually theirs.

God, Jacqueline. Stop this.

"Come on, let's have some fun, okay?" he grinned and put his arm around me and kissed my temple while ushering me to his friends. They greeted us as we ordered our drinks and move to the empty booths and start our night with laughter from their silly stories.

I had a great time, Kayne had never disappointed and he pulled me in his arms when told me to go with my guts, to live my life and just be happy.

"... just forget what other people think." He ended his words with a warm smile on his face.

"Um... yeah, except when those people are your parents."

Ouch...

"Eh, true, damn... Jacqueline, you know just how to hit me in my soft spot." We laughed it off then had a great talk with his friends until time runs out when more and more couples return home and Kayne gets me back to my apartment where Percy was already waiting.

Uh oh, he doesn't look too friendly when Kayne and I burst into my apartment with his arm wrapped around my shoulder caveman-style.
