"She's still sleeping?" I asked joining my brother for breakfast after a refreshing shower and a quick change in my bedroom.

"I think she's in recuperation, I believe we exhausted her until dawn. A caffeine injection won't even wake her up this early, she's perfectly comatose, looking beautifully spread naked in my bed.

"We need your girl to come in and redesign a room for Jacqueline, tell her to fit in the biggest bed for us. If we're keeping her here, she might as well gets her room." I said knowing we still have guests rooms that we don't even use, and money is not going to be an issue for renovations.

Grady chuckled and told me that I was jealous because she was still sleeping in his bed. "Yeah, a bit, and I'm trying to make me unjealous by putting Jacqueline in her room where I can play with her even when you're not around and not invade your privacy by creeping in your room and using your shower gel."

"Dude, first of all, Emilie was never my girl. We flirt and that's about it, she's happily married to a filthy rich Mafia boss and popping babies every year. I'm not sure she's still working in interior design, but I'll call her. And second, you know what's mine is yours, just be honest and tell me you're still envious that I got the master bedroom." He smiled smugly and dig into his breakfast looking content with his morning.

"Wow, you know someone in the Mafia business. Keep her close bro. You never know what kind of favor we'd need in the future. And you get the master bedroom sucked, after Jacqueline," I shrugged, "I never thought about needing more space until she's in it."

"Careful little brother, do I need to remind you not to fall for an escort? this is us having brotherly fun. Remind yourself that she's still keeping her boyfriend while agreeing to be with us for the next six months." Grady took another sip of his coffee and rest back and shut down his laptop.

"I know... I know, just tell me, did Bruce get back with any leads on the guys that were following Jacqueline?" I asked after last night hearing Grady called Bruce, our college buddy who owned his security business. "He had his men checked the CCTV from the coffee shop and the surrounding areas, they run their faces through the facial recognition software and got hits. Those guys are with the local Albanian mob,"

"Shit, I'm guessing this is related to her client in Capri?" I interrupted his words feeling a twist in my gut already. I was hoping it was a stupid mistake that the men weren't following her. We've just finished with our sister Ella's issue now Jacqueline was revealing a more disturbing one.

"Yeah, we ran a background check on the guy. His family is controlling the mob business back home and they're keeping a tight leash on their only heir. And get this, the guy, Ghazi, didn't want in on it. So, the first order of the day is to set up a meeting with..." Grady paused his words when my eyes darted to his bedroom door where the beautiful Jacqueline hear every bit of his information vomit.

"Oh. Fuck. How much?" Grady whispered groaning, referring to how much did she hear about our little talk. And he sighed when I shake my head silently telling him that she heard all the important bits and we need to explain or she'll go running to her Iranian sugar daddy.

Fuck, I hate how that sounds.

"I assumed you both talked not realizing that I already woke up, right? Now that I am, you're going to tell me why are you talking about Ghazi?" Jacqueline asked while half-naked only wearing an oversize t-shirt, which was probably Grady's. She looked annoyed, beautiful, and still with her messy bed hair.

"Join us, we didn't want to interrupt your rest." I was hoping the simple invite will calm her down, and I relaxed a little when she walks towards me and sits to my side while still looking at Grady with her accusing glare.

But my older brother was playing it cool, he was pouring her coffee and plating her toast while he went back and explained to her again about what we've talked about.

"So, our security team told me that those guys who were following you were related to the local Albanian mob, not sure what their intention towards you. But the closest one to you, who has a connection to the mob is Ghazi Taheri." "He's in the mob business?" Jacqueline asked, her words were a bit shaky her hand almost drop her cup. Interesting, she didn't know about his business.

I continue Grady's words, needing to soften his morning speech. "We don't believe Ghazi was aware of your situation, we're going to set up a meeting with him this morning,"

"He's not in the country, he'd be back in a couple of days," she offered information and Grady looked like he was about to blow up from sheer jealousy. And that made her smirk looking at me. She picked up her cup, drinks her coffee before her explanation follows."What? I text his boyfriend, Remy, back and forth. The man likes my fashion taste, we clicked."

"Look, do you want me to set up a meet with Ghazi?" Jacqueline offered, but she didn't wait for our answers when she got up and walked back to Grady's room then within moments she was back in the kitchen with a phone in her ear. "No, what? Ghazi, I'm fine, I'm with... yeah, look that's what I'm calling you for, are you back in the country?" Grady and I looked at each other as she stood before us, phone pressed to her ear, talking to Ghazi.

"Okay, how about tonight? I mean if you're not too tired... no, I guess not, okay, here let me get you, Grady, he'll give you the meeting point for the meetup." She gave Grady her phone and he was speaking to her Iranian client to set up a meeting.

"What?" she asked when I smiled and pecked her nose. "Nothing, thank you for giving Grady to set everything up. He can be such a control freak..." she reached out to kiss my cheek and told me that she was afraid that Grady would blow a fuse. "Your brother was near combustion, I just need to relieve the pressure a bit. I still owe him for that bullet wound." Her face saddened for a couple of seconds, I think it's a rare moment. She masked her emotions, I just started to learn that about her.

"So?" she was putting on her fake smile, I know she was worried. I can see how she was stifling in her seat as if she was too anxious for Grady's reply.

"He's coming here after dinner, he wanted you to stay at his but I was not having it. So, he compromised by checking our place and our security details. We will discuss our findings and will come up with a temporary solution." "Okay, so I'm going to call Remy to tag along with Ghazi. This is going to be like a double date, right. I'm going to shower and go out shopping..."

"Jacqueline," Grady was about to warn her not to go out when I told him we can take her out, relax for a day.

"But we have meetings, work stuff," Grady reminded me, being his usual uptight self. "Up to you bro, I'm going to tell my PA to move my schedules for today and have a day off with Jacqueline." I was not asking her permission, but I can tell that she was liking my decision, as if I was conspiring with her, doing something mischievous.

But then two hours later I regret my decision to accompany her shopping, the woman can surely shop. I was at a stage where I wait for her at the nearest coffee shop, opening my work email, and groaned when Grady finds out as I started to join their group meeting via Video call.

My brother can be older but he acts none the wiser when he laughs at me as we continue chatting after our meeting, and he was asking about Jacqueline. "Two guards are tailing her, dude, she's having her purchased items delivered. The woman is not worried about carrying her shopping bags, she knows what she's doing! We've been here for two goddamn hours and she's still going strong!" Grady was laughing at my words, telling me he was glad that he was being the responsible brother and came into the office.

We ended the video call the moment Jacqueline came into my view. I couldn't get enough of her stunning features, even the way she walks and smiles at the barista as she ordered coffee. It made me smile just to look at her.

She enjoyed her coffee with me before I told her that I'm taking her to my favorite sushi restaurant, to which she declined telling me that she was treating my lunch. The surprise was she booked us a couple-spa and treated me to an afternoon of hot stone therapy massage, and a relaxing dip in the private heated pool with lunch in between.

"Grady is so going to be jealous when I told him about this." She giggled and drink her bubbly as we relaxed by the ledge of the pool.

I didn't want to think about tonight as I brush away my thoughts and enjoy my time with her.
