Before I could blink for a second time, he rushed towards me and grabbed my arm,
"Are you trying to seduce me? Cause if you are then it’s.."
"That’s the last thing I would ever have in mind, Alpha," I interjected as I released his grip on my arm so I could hold my towel tightly,
"You were the one who barged into my room first." I continued as he took a few steps away from him.
He cleared his throat aloud, and tucked his hand into the pocket of his short while I tried as hard as possible to keep my thighs clasped,
How could I not feel wet underneath when this man was freaking handsome with those piercings around his ears and one on his brows,
His small round red lips, and pointed nose. His dark curly hair scattered roughly on his head indicating he had just finished showering. The most important thing was his perfectly intoxicating scent. Everything was driving me insane,
The mate bond was only intensifying this insanity,

My legs were freaking wet, but as my mate, I prayed he wouldn’t be able to perceive how wet I was.
When he looked down at my legs and smiled, I swallowed a deep breath before we heard Daniel’s voice,
"Oh, oh goodness. I didn’t mean to interrupt anything, carry on with whatever was going on....!
"No! You can come in. The alpha was just leaving." I interrupted as I pushed him away,
"Nothing was going on."
Daniel stood at the entrance staring at both of us
until Dexter turned around to face him,
"What’s wrong?"
"Dinner is ready, Alpha. The alpha king and Luna are seated and awaiting your presence." Daniel announced, and without uttering a word, Dexter began to walk away.
With everything he had said so far about me staying away from his family, it made me wonder if he hated his father and mother or what.
As soon as he left, I faced Daniel,
"I’ll be done in a few minutes, and I’ll join him downstairs," I uttered, and he walked away. As soon as he was gone, I turned around to face the mirror again
Fuck, that was insanely close,
"Not now! Please not now." I murmured to my subconscious mind so I could calm down a bit.
In a few minutes, I was done dressing and ready to head downstairs. I got to the huge dining room, which was almost as huge as the entire house I grew up in, but Dexter was missing!
