Chapter 7-1
Chapter 7-1
Amelia -
"So soon?" I yelled at him, the shocked look on my face so evident.
"I don’t think I’m ready. What am I supposed to say to your family when I get to the pack? And my secret?"
He heaved before he glared at me,
"Daniel will give you a paper containing everything you say to my father once you get to the mansion and especially how you need to act so they don’t suspect anything stupid, and I took care of your identity. No one would find out about your past so don’t worry about that." He muttered, and I didn’t bother to question him again.
He was certainly powerful enough to do that.
Just like that, the car finally passed the border of the black mountain pack. The pack which I had grown up and had all of my horrible childhood memories in. I knew for a fact that things were going to certainly change for me and in the new pack, it would be totally different.
I had no idea what I was going there to face, but one thing I knew deep down was that I wouldn’t let anyone bully me or see me as weak just like everyone did in the black mountain pack. This was a chance for me to save my life from this curse, and even live the future that I want for myself after a year,
Just a year! I could do this,
"We’re here." Daniel’s voice snapped me out of my trance,
Without uttering a word, Alpha Dexter simply stepped out of the car, and I did the same afterwards.
"You have just thirty minutes to pick the dress, anything is fine because this isn’t a real wedding to begin with." He said coldly and I rolled my eyes at him. He didn’t have to remind me that,
With his hand tucked into his pocket, and the breez dangling his neatly arranged hairs close to his eye, he began to walk inside while Daniel led the way for me. This mall was really huge, and it made me wonder if a place like this was really meant for me
"Good day sir, we haven’t seen you here in a long time. What can I help you with, Alpha."
The girl lowered her head to greet, and it made me wonder why she was acting so familiar with him,
"The Alpha owns the mall." Daniel’s voice cleared my thoughts from behind, and I nodded my head slightly in understanding,
"A wedding dress." Alpha Dexter uttered and took three steps to the left side,
"For her?"
The lady arched her brows as she stared at me, and then at him once again before nodding my head. It was almost like I could see the look of disappointment on her face when she saw me, and I knew it was because she couldn’t believe that maybe the bride could be me. What the hell was actually wrong with me.
Out of annoyance, I didn’t what I hated myself for doing,
I walked up to Dexter and grabbed his arm, then I intertwined mine in his,
"We would pick together if you don’t mind. Just lead the way to all the pretty gowns."
I could feel his struggles, him trying to free his hand from mine, but I held on strongly until the lady turned around and began walking,
