Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 836

The manager looked puzzled, "Why are you so interested in him?"

"Well, someone saw Leo getting into a Rolls Royce at the office entrance the other day. Word is, a lot of folks have seen Leo calling the driver 'Uncle'." The manager's mind flashed back to the woman with a child he had seen earlier, whom Leo had mentioned was his aunt.

If his uncle was that loaded, it made sense his aunt could afford to eat at the swanky Majestic Dining Enclave.

"People are dying to meet this mysterious young master. Plus, Leo's good looks have everyone at the office buzzing, trying to dig up info on him." "Has anyone asked Leo directly?"

Lee nodded, "Sure, I've asked him too. But Leo's always kept things pretty low-key with us, so he never spills any family secrets."

Vincent's eyes narrowed slightly, "Come to my office, let's have a deeper chat about this."

After lunch, Henry's clothes were quickly stripped off by his mom. Covered in food, Mia, annoyed, took off his little vest, leaving him bare-chested without a care.

After dropping Leo off downstairs, Mia hopped out too, planning to grab a cab to Cedillo Inc.

Molly had to drive back to Chade Inc. because of an urgent call.

Mia asked Leo, "Why didn't you bring Anya back this time?"

Leo glanced at his unapologetically bare-chested little brother, "She's busy with stuff at her place."

After answering, Leo added, "Hang on for a sec. Anya got me a blanket to keep warm during winter naps. Wrap him up and take him to the Cedillo Group. Showing up shirtless like that, you won't be playing the role of a tough CEO anytime soon, right Henry?" Leo pinched the little guy's cheek and got into the elevator. Soon, he came back with a thin blanket, wrapping the shirtless Henry snugly.

Anya always had a knack for planning ahead. Last summer, she started getting ready for winter by ordering blankets, convinced Chad would need them.

So, a winter blanket on Leo's chair was just par for the course.

It was nearing two o'clock, and Leo, holding Henry, said, "A quick kiss from big bro before I head back to work."

He gave Henry a gentle peck on the cheek, helping them into a taxi, "You guys head off now, I'm going back up." He dashed back to the office.

Twenty minutes later, a little bundle wrapped by his mom made its way into the office, grabbing everyone's attention. People waved, saying, "Hi, Henry."

Henry happily waved back from within the blanket, saying goodbye to everyone.

Mia struggled to lift him as they entered the CEO's private elevator.

Henry, looking at his reflection, cooed, "Ah~ mommy wow wow."

Mia glanced at the blinking security camera, pulling off Henry's outer blanket and lifting him up for the man on the other side to see. "Check out your kid. One meal, and his clothes are trashed. He's feeding his clothes instead of himself! Get out here and take him; I'm about done with him."

Henry gazed at the round security camera, curious about the strange object.

In the office, the man's smile widened. Watching his son's confused look and his wife's playful complaints on the monitor, he stood up, grabbed his light jacket, and headed straight for the elevator.

The secretarial staff was puzzled why the CEO was suddenly standing by the elevator with clothes in hand.

Before the elevator doors opened, they heard a child's clear voice, "Papa, papa, papa."

Everyone knew Henry had arrived.

The elevator doors slid open, and Andre, all smiles, was there to greet mother and son.

Andre opened his jacket, stepped into the elevator, wrapped his shirtless son, and handed the thin blanket to his wife, "Got messy again, and little Mia's not having it?"

"Hmm~"

The bare Henry was whisked away to his dad's office, while Mia's first task was to give him a good wash. "What did you do to get so filthy?"

Andre was bathing their son, while Mia tackled Henry's laundry.

Mia said, "We hadn't seen Leo in ages, so Molly and I caught up with him over lunch. You wouldn't believe it, but he managed to spill two-thirds of his meal on himself. Then he bawled because he was still hungry." Andre's son was always a handful.

Ten minutes later, the freshly washed little guy was once again a sweet, milky-smelling toddler.

Standing by the couch, supporting himself with his hands, Henry's clothes were washed and hung out by Mia.

In the sweltering mid-August heat, clothes dried quickly after a couple of hours in the sun.

Mia, both lazy and avoiding the sun, turned to her ruggedly handsome husband who never worried about his appearance. "Honey, could you go down to the rooftop garden and hang your son's clothes out? They'll be dry by the time he wakes up from his nap." Andre agreed but even in domestic matters, he looked to his wife for guidance, "There's no clothesline down there, where should I hang them?"

Mia leaned towards the window, pointing out, "Just drape them over the flowers and plants below; they'll dry out fast."

Andre, braving the heat, carried his son's red vest outside, catching curious glances from colleagues.

"CEO, what's up?" some of the more familiar executives dared to ask.

Andre gestured with his son's clothes, "Just airing out my kid's laundry."

Their CEO was becoming more down-to-earth by the day, his previously aloof image now a thing of the past...

Reaching the ground floor, Mia watched attentively from above, keeping an eye on the situation.

The rooftop garden, a place where employees occasionally went to unwind, was quieter in the summer heat, though some people were still there.

Andre, checking his surroundings with his phone, felt none of the plants looked clean enough, so he called his wife watching from above, "Mia, none of these plants seem clean."

Mia replied, "Just put it down anywhere; your son isn't that clean either."

Her son, sucking on his lower lip, turned to look at his mom, who again expressed her disdain.

Mia and her son locked eyes, and she confidently said, "Well, you're not exactly spotless."

Andre spread out the clothes, pointing at a bushy green plant, "Can I put it here?"

Mia responded through the phone, "Yes, that's fine. Hurry back, it's too hot outside."

Andre agreed, hung up, and prepared to leave.

Seeing the employees still on the terrace, he advised, "It's too hot outside, come back in if you don't need to be there."

"... Yes, CEO."

Andre returned to the office, greeted at the door by his wife and son.

In the office, Mia was giving their son a gentle lesson, "Doesn't your dad treat you well? In the blazing heat, nearly a hundred degrees, he went out to hang your clothes. Remember, your dad is Andre. In a moment, give him a big hug and a kiss." So, when Andre walked in, Henry immediately rushed into his father's arms, hugging his face and planting kisses on him.
