Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian)

Chapter 579

Sebastian's expression darkened upon learning that the person in the vehicle wasn't Fressia. It turned out that she was an impostor. The Everlight members were resolute in their resolve. They chose to end their own lives with poison rather than face questioning. "Supreme One, what should we do now?" Gina asked.

He thought momentarily before replying, "The Holy Maiden's injuries are severe. She'll be unable to recover quickly. Judging by her situation, there are two possibilities.

"She will either find a place to hide and recover or flee by ship from the coast. Continue the search and send a team to inspect all the docks thoroughly."

Sebastian's suspicion was soon confirmed. About half an hour later, Gina called with news that someone had spotted a woman wrapped in layers at the Eastsea dock. The figure resembled Fressia, and she had already set sail.

Without hesitation, he ordered a full-scale pursuit and hopped into a helicopter. Fressia wielded incredible power. If he didn't kill her now, her escape could lead to endless trouble. If she recovered and teamed up with Bellamy, it would be catastrophic for Sebastian.

That evening, Sebastian set out to sea. The latest intel confirmed that Fressia's ship had left the Eastsea and was heading to the Pacific Ocean. The pursuit continued until dawn the next day.

Standing at the ship's bow, he spotted a small black dot on the horizon.

Gina said, "Supreme One, that must be the ship."

As time passed, the distance to the ship ahead was less than 330 feet away. But Sebastian's ship started to slow down.

A crew member quickly reported, "Supreme One, we have a major problem. Our ship has broken down."

"What?" Sebastian's face darkened. Just when they had finally caught up, they faced a setback at a critical moment.

"Do we have a speedboat?" he asked.

"Yes. But the waves are too rough right now. It's too dangerous," the crew member said. "Lower it immediately." Sebastian knew the risks, but he couldn't afford to miss this chance. "This is too risky. You shouldn't go. Let me handle it," Gina urged.

"There are likely powerful Everlight members on board. You won't be able to handle them. I'm going by myself, and that's final." With his decision made, Sebastian didn't

waver and set off in the speedboat.

The speedboat was much faster than the ship. It cut through the waves like a swordfish. He expertly maneuvered the boat despite the towering waves and easily overcame them.

The Everlight members soon spotted Sebastian and panicked. They quickly unleashed a devastating energy that destroyed the speedboat.

He used the explosion's force to propel himself into the air. A few Everlight Cardinals tried to intercept him, but he killed them in seconds.

Before Sebastian could enter the cabin, Fressia emerged to confront him.

"I've finally caught you. The ocean's beauty will make a fitting backdrop for your end. You should find some solace in this final resting place." He sneered.

"Must you be so merciless?" she spat through gritted teeth.

"Would you show me mercy if our roles were reversed?" Sebastian retorted.

Fressia didn't respond. She despised him to the core and wouldn't let him go if she had the chance. "Listen up, Sebastian If I don't die today, I swear it make you suffer a

thousand deaths in the future,” she vowed through clenched teeth.

"Do you think you'll have a future?" he replied with a disdainful smile.

Suddenly, Fressia made a move that took Sebastian by surprise. He was momentarily stunned as she leaped off the edge of the ship. By the time he reached the rail, she had already disappeared into the water

They were in the open ocean. Even with the best swimming skills, survival was uncertain. Yet, he wasn't willing to take any chances, so he jumped into the water. Upon entering the water, Sebastian activated his spiritual senses. He quickly located Fressia about 30 feet away, gliding through the water like a mermaid.

He hurried after her and was determined to kill her with his own hands. As they moved further from the ship, he finally caught up and grabbed her by the neck.

Despite her efforts to fight back, Fressia was gravely wounded and could barely resist. Sebastian's Seraphic Tear Pendant suddenly emitted a soft glow as she was about to die. Suddenly, a massive whirlpool appeared from the depths below and pulled both into its powerful currents before they could resist.
