Never Tired of Mr. Leon's Love

Chapter 621

Matthew's study was not far from the master bedroom, so as soon as he heard his phone ring, he silenced it. When he saw who was calling, he wondered why Hudson was calling him this late at night. Out of curiosity, he answered the call. "Hello? What's wrong?"

The other end was eerily silent, and Matthew's heart began to race. He wondered if something had happened to Hudson.

After noticing the call had gone through 23 seconds ago, Hudson picked up the phone and said, "Matthew, what are you doing right now? Can you come pick me up?"

"Pick you up? What happened to you?" Matthew could tell from the sound of his voice that he had been drinking, so he let his guard down a little.

"Nothing. When we left just now, Koven went out drinking alone. Then, the bartender called me saying he was drunk and asked me to pick him up. I drank a bit too, and now we're both drunk and stranded on the streets, which is why I called you." Hudson was embarrassed to say this. All his life, he had always practiced self-control when drinking, and he had never needed anyone to pick him up before.

Matthew almost burst out laughing when he heard the voice on the other end. Smiling, he said, "Send me your location. I'll come over now."

Relieved to hear that Matthew agreed, Hudson nodded and hung up. After sending Matthew their location, he and Koven waited for him by the roadside.

Matthew put on his clothes and quietly opened the door to the master bedroom. After making sure that Lucy was asleep, he left. He got into the car, input Hudson's location into the navigation, and drove off.

When he arrived, he saw Hudson and Koven huddled together by the road. It was an extremely odd sight. They did not look like a CEO and a fashion designer at all but rather two homeless drunks who were about to sleep on the streets.

Matthew flashed his headlights

Standing in front of them, he looked down at the two. After noticing a

pair of shoes in front of him, Hudson looked up and saw that it was Matthew. Shoving Koven aside he immediately got up to hug him.

"Matt, you're here. You have no idea how miserable Koven and I were without you..."

Perhaps it was because of the alcohol, but Koven made it sound so tragic.

He was reeking of alcohol, so Matthew turned his head away from him.

Hudson suddenly let go of Matthew and took a penny out of his pocket. Teary-eyed, he said, "Just now, when Koven and I were sitting by the

roadside, a guy walked by and ne

tossed a penny in front of us. Can you believe it? How insulting!"

Matthew could not hold back his laughter. Then, he walked over to Koven and nudged his leg. "Koven, wake up."

Seeing as he did not respond, Matthew frowned and said to Hudson coldly, "Carry him into my car."

Stunned, Hudson protested, "I'm just one guy. How do you expect me to carry him into the car alone?"

Matthew shrugged. "If you two want to sleep on the streets, that's fine by me."

With that, he turned and walked away.
