Mommy for Billionaire's Baby

Chapter 53 c

"Sure, go ahead. I won't stop you." Naina leaned against Tasya affectionately. "Just don't keep calling Mama Tasya all the time. Watch out if you keep going back and forth," she threatened with a sharp look in her eyes. She knew exactly how Nathan acted with the woman who was now hugging her back. The soft caresses on her head. The warm embraces that made her comfortable. Even though she sometimes got scolded, Naina knew this woman loved her with all her heart. "I'll finish my work quickly, Tasya." This time, Nathan's gaze shifted to his wife, who was busy with Naina. "You won't get mad, will you?"

"No," Tasya smiled broadly. "I'll make some hot tea to keep you company while you work."

"Great," praised Nathan, patting the top of Tasya's head. He also planted a quick kiss on the side of his wife's head, full of affection. The corner of his eye noticed Naina frowning disapprovingly. It was as if Nathan was interrupting the closeness between Tasya and herself, further strengthening Naina's grip on Tasya.

So possessive!

"Why?" Nathan still didn't want to move. His mischievous spirit was rising, seeing his niece's increasingly pouty face. Naina's lips were small, but when they pouted like this, Nathan wanted to pull them. Maybe make her scream hysterically again, like she did earlier. "Do you want Daddy to kiss too?"

"No. I'm not a little kid," Naina replied with a cynical snort.

"Mama Tasya doesn't mind. Does that mean Mama Tasya is still a kid?" Nathan chuckled with amusement.

"Enough already. Go on! You said you wanted to work. Just go and disturb him!" Although she hadn't had her fill of teasing and fooling around with Naina, Nathan was ready to leave. His eyes were still lingering on his wife. Actually, Nathan wanted Tasya to keep him company. He found it strange to work alone, considering how often Tasya had been his companion at work. However, Nathan couldn't be selfish. Otherwise, he might become the subject of Naina's mockery: "Actually, it's me or Daddy who's still a kid? Always wanting to do this and that together! I'm independent!"

Nathan could already imagine those words ringing loudly in his ears.

Thinking about it made Nathan laugh. Without realizing it, Tasya furrowed her brow. "What's wrong, Honey?"

Nathan observed how Tasya took care of Naina. She slowly adjusted her position so as not to disturb the sleeping Naina. She also ensured the blanket and pillow Naina was using were comfortable. Oh, not to forget the lighting and the room's air conditioning.

"Nothing," Nathan grinned thinly, pulling his wife closer. His work was done. There was still a little left, but he could leave it to Ronan tomorrow. After all, it was getting late. Could he really leave his wife in Naina's room? Then who would he sleep with tonight? A pillow again? No way!

There was someone he could hug and cuddle with. Why go back to wrestling with a pillow? What a waste!

"For now, we'll sleep in my room, okay?"

"Yeah, sure. Where else? You don't want to move temporarily over there."

He helped his wife close Naina's bedroom door. His eyes made sure once again that nothing was missing in their niece's room. Then he put his arm around his wife's waist and walked together to their room. He had also asked Merry to change the bedspread to a brighter color, even though he wasn't sure if there were any bedspreads in his collection that suited Tasya's taste.

"Hang on, Tasya," he briefly kissed his wife's temple. "Actually, my room is bigger, you know. Well, not as big as Noah's room, of course."

"Noah's room is usually used by your parents, Nathan," Tasya sighed softly. Since Nathan didn't want to move his hand and would definitely protest if Tasya tried to free herself, it was better for her to lean on her husband's shoulder, right? But Nathan seemed delighted.

"I've already told you my reasons for wanting to stay there. But if you mind, I can adapt quickly. I've said that, right?" Tasya felt like pinching Nathan. They had been talking about the room since earlier, even though the man already knew her

reasons.

"Yes, Mama Raptor," Nathan laughed. Nathan's room was not far from Naina's room on the second floor. The room Tasya wanted was on the ground floor, near the garden. Her reasons made sense, and according to Nathan, they were valid. That's why Nathan agreed to move and slightly remodel his old room.

Their steps halted right in front of Nathan's bedroom door. For some reason, Nathan felt that Tasya was a bit tense. His hand on her waist could feel it very clearly. "What's wrong?"

"Uh... nothing," Tasya shook her head quickly.

"Nervous?" Nathan asked, chuckling. "Why be nervous?" He didn't want to wait for his wife to answer. Instead, he immediately turned the doorknob and invited Tasya in. "Welcome to my room, Wifey."

"Like Wi-Fi, your nickname for me." Tasya wasn't sure if this joke would make her laugh or not. All she knew was that she was killing her nerves. For some reason, she felt completely different when she was alone with Nathan. "Your clothes have been arranged by Merry, but you can double-check. Who knows, something might not match your preferred arrangement."

Tasya nodded slightly.

"Why, though?" Nathan placed his phone on the nightstand, walking ahead of Tasya, who was slowly entering his room. As far as Nathan knew, Tasya often roamed and invaded every part of the house, even though she had never visited this room. Tasya said Nathan's room was too private for her to enter.

Maybe that's why Tasya seemed a bit tense. "Sit here," Nathan said, patting the spot beside him on his large bed. The choice of a dark grey bedspread with an embossed pattern gave a neutral feeling to Tasya's presence in the room. Tasya nodded obediently and sat down beside Nathan somewhat awkwardly.
