Love Comes To Me

Chapter 795: You accompany me?

Inside the research room, the atmosphere is somewhat suffocating as Sener lapses into silence.

The thin prongs of the glass in Hector's hand, from his involuntary force, sink into the most sensitive skin of his palm, pressing deep red marks that he feels no pain. After a long time, Hector's throat rolled with difficulty and hissed, "So... is there any way to slowly reduce the germs?"

Sener frowned and said, "This bacteria is tricky, constant in number but multiplying at an alarming rate."

Almeida nodded, "We tried to kill some of them earlier, but when marking the trace, we found that a very quick time had brought us back to our original data, reproducing at a rate almost measured in seconds."

...

It's quite a tricky thing.

Hector's expression was a bit of a blur.

Knowing it was cruel, Almeida couldn't help but caution, "Don't worry Prince, we will do our best to heal you, it's just that we are afraid that some complications may arise in the process and you still need to be mentally prepared." At these words, Hector's face was so ugly that it could be described as ashen.

So it looks like Eloise's illness is in jeopardy...

After leaving the Institute, Hector returned home in a trance.

As soon as the door slammed, Eloise stood up and ran to the door.

Noticing that Hector looked a little pale, she asked with concern, "Did something happen?"

"Nothing, just some company stuff."

With a tired look on his face, he walked briskly towards his study on the first floor, forgetting to even change his shoes.

He was about to enter the study when he realised that Eloise was still standing downstairs, so he turned around and went back downstairs, hugged her tightly and said softly, "Get some rest, I have things to do."

Eloise looked at him half-heartedly, but catching a glimpse of the tiredness in his eyes, she couldn't bear to ask further.

Thoughtfully, he watched as his figure disappeared into the study doorway.

In the study, Hector's eyes were fixed for a moment on the computer screen.

The screen is densely packed with literature on the latest experimental studies on bacteria, but with minimal reward. Before we knew it, it was an afternoon and evening that had passed.

Halfway through the day Eloise came up to ask him for dinner, all of which he declined, citing work commitments.

As the night passed, Hector rubbed his sore eyes and looked out of the window; the sky was already dawn.

Eloise woke up and didn't see Hector and thought he was already up.

But the other side of the sheet didn't look like someone had slept there, so I was a little confused.

She yawned and pushed open the door to the study, and there was Hector, who hadn't been back in the bedroom all night.

His eyes were bloodshot and he had a cigarette in his hand.

A quick glance tells me that it was a sleepless night.

Eloise was instantly a little distressed, but a little angry to see him so unlovingly angry, and walked over and propped her hands on the table, "Why aren't you sleeping?"

Seeing this, Hector immediately put out the cigarette in his hand and smiled at her, "Go to sleep right away."

Eloise moved her eyes down and swept over the seven or eight cigarette butts piled up in the ashtray, exasperated, "Smoking and staying up late, do you want your health back?" In fact, Hector is not a smoker and seldom smokes in general, only when he is particularly bored will he smoke one.

How annoying it must be to have smoked so much in one night.

Hearing her concerned query, Hector bowed his head somewhat sheepishly.

"Is there some kind of problem at work?" Eloise guessed.

Hector said vaguely, "It's fine, it's sorted."

He walked over and pushed the window open to let the fresh air in, fearing that the lingering smell of smoke might have smothered Eloise.

At that, Eloise didn't get suspicious and nodded, "That's good, go to bed now."

Hector, however, did not immediately agree, but walked over to her and gazed down at her.

The voice that hadn't slept all night was slightly husky and very provocative, "You keep me company?"

"I've only just got up ..."

Eloise glared at him and turned to leave.

Who was surprised when Hector wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his head in the crook of her neck.

Like a domesticated cat, the hot breath sprayed on sensitive muscles. Eloise's body immediately stiffened.

"Hector, what are you doing, you get off me quick."

Eloise struggled, blushing with shame at the position they were now in.

Hector had both his arms around her waist and half his body pressed against her, the two pressed close together. "So sleepy..."

Eloise can't believe it, is Hector pouting at her, he feels somehow cute like this...

But I didn't want him to stay awake, so I had to pretend to be mean and say, "Why don't you go to bed if you're sleepy?"

"You can't sleep without me."

Another low murmur and Eloise even reddened at the base of her ears.

She tried to break Hector's hands away, but those big hands were like iron pincers, strangling her tightly around the waist, afraid she would run away. "You ..."

Eloise turned her head sideways to see Hector leaning against the crook of her neck, his eyes slightly closed, a circle of green under them. He was really tired, I think.

The words of refusal could no longer be said.

"Okay then..."

Before the words were out of his mouth, his body was lighter and he was picked up by Hector and walked towards the bedroom in stride. Hector wrapped his arms around Eloise, slumped into bed and within a few moments, drifted off to sleep.

Eloise didn't dare move for fear of waking him up.

Finally, he simply closes his eyes himself and rests his eyes.

I don't know how long it took, but Eloise was dazed and heard a buzzing sound coming from the bedside table.

She opened her eyes immediately and dropped her heart when she saw that Hector was still sleeping soundly.

Slowly moving Hector's arm around her waist, she got out of bed, grabbed her phone and gingerly went into the bathroom.

The call was from Rowson and Eloise pressed answer.

"Eloise."

It was as if it had been a long, long time since I heard Rowson's voice again.

Suppressing the mixed emotions in her mind, Eloise asked in a small voice, "Can I help you?"

Hearing her words, Rowson seemed a little lost.

"Can't even call you now that there's nothing going on?"

...

When she didn't answer, Rowson gave a bitter laugh and brushed the subject aside, "I heard you were back in France, are you free to come out for dinner tonight?" Eloise hesitated and did not immediately agree.

"I don't mean anything else, it's just a meal together and, how's your health these days?"

There was concern in Rowson's tone.

"It's quite all right." Her tone was light, unadulterated by other emotions.

"Well, are you coming tonight then?" Rowson asked again.

Eloise glanced at a sleeping Hector and hesitantly said, "I've only just come from the country and I've still got some things to do, so ..."

Hearing the rejection in her words, Rowson interrupted her.

"Hector won't be restricting your freedom anymore."

At that, Eloise immediately retorted, "No."

Rowson gave a short laugh, "I thought he forbade you to come over."
