Love Comes To Me

Chapter 688: Solomon is missing

Sensing unease, Eloise spoke up and asked, "What's wrong?"

Hector looked extremely uncomfortable and his voice was much muffled all of a sudden.

"Solomon is missing."

Hearing that it was about Solomon, Eloise was also anxious, asking repeatedly, "How did he disappear, where did he go?"

Hector shook his head, "The school called and said Solomon only showed up at the school and left and she couldn't find anyone." "Maybe it went back on its own." Eloise held on to a ray of hope.

Hector didn't say anything, looking stony.

A call was then made to Mrs Darlington, but the face became more difficult.

As he had predicted, Solomon did not return.

He ran away from home!

No one now knows where he has gone.

Ever since that day, Hector has known something had changed with Solomon, except he was trying to behave as usual.

But Hector was too depressed to care about Solomon once he arrived.

Secondly, they also think that children's tantrums will figure themselves out after a while.

As it turned out, Solomon was not expected to be so sensitive at heart.

Hector sat silently and for a moment Eloise just felt his whole being overwhelmed by a great sadness.

On closer inspection, he looks yet extremely calm.

It was an air of desperation that radiated from the bones.

Eloise could barely breathe as she said incoherently, "Let's, well, let's hurry to Solomon, it's taking too long..." Hector looked up and pulled the corner of his mouth at her, but there was no hint of a smile on his face.

"And the divorce papers?"

"Divorce is not as important as Solomon!" Eloise almost blurted out.

Giving her a deep look, Hector started the car straight away.

When I went to the school, I searched all the several streets in the neighbourhood and there was no sign of Solomon.

Hector's face was getting hard and Solomon was not a child who did not know any better.

This time, the departure from home must have been due to a broken heart.

He would not have used such extreme methods if he had not reached an unacceptable point.

Hector's hand on the steering wheel was hard enough to make his bones white and the bruises on the back of his hand rise up. Eloise looked uncomfortable and tugged at his sleeve.

"Let's get out of the car and look for it, there are a lot of alleys and it's not good for cars to get in."

Hector nodded his head in response.

Even with a thousand dislikes and impatience in her heart, Eloise Hector was always as good-natured as ever. Finding a place to park the car, the pair searched on foot.

Walking through street after street, going to several shops where Solomon likes to eat, never finding anyone.

The school teachers are looking for someone, as are Mr Fletcher, Mrs Matriarch and the Rupert's are tagging along to help. Hector's heart sank straight down as he watched the barrage of messages they sent.

None of them are...

"It'll be fine, Solomon's so smart, he's probably just being playful and running off somewhere to hide and play quietly."

Eloise put on a light-hearted face, not sure if it was to comfort herself or Hector.

I searched and searched and ended up back near the school in a roundabout way.

Eloise went into a convenience store and bought two bottles of water and gave one to Hector.

After hours of continuous running and anxiety, Hector's lips were white.

He took the water and looked at Eloise's equally anxious face, suddenly impelled to tell everything, but finally resisted.

Not daring to delay, Eloise took her chances and asked the old man about a fruit stall as she passed by.

The older man looked puzzled after hearing this, "I have a slight impression of this child you are talking about, is it a little boy this tall and as delicate looking as a doll?" "Yes yes, have you seen it, Uncle?" Eloise was pleasantly surprised.

The older man tried to recall and said, "I came out to set up my stall this morning and passed an alleyway and saw a child similar to your description, white and clean looking." Any clue is now extremely valuable to the duo.

The older man showed them the way and the two of them flew over towards it.

The alleyways here diverge in many ways, and after some more searching in the alleyways the two finally came upon Solomon.

At the moment he is sitting on the steps with his head hanging down.

Solomon heard footsteps and voices calling out to him and looked up at the anxious duo with a flat response.

Instead of pouncing on it like Sweety usually does, he darted away.

Hector, however, didn't notice the little gesture.

He walked up to Solomon and said in a hushed voice, suppressing his anger, "Solomon, what's wrong with you? Do you know that many people are worried about you?" Hector had never spoken so sternly to Solomon before, and for a moment Solomon's shoulders shook and his head dropped even lower.

Looking at his sad face, Hector was a little distressed, but more worried about the anger that had built up afterwards.

He knew that if he was kind and comforting now, then it would fuel his anger later.

So he continued, "Do you know how anxious your grandparents are when you run away like that? Do you know how worried we are?" Solomon, can you behave yourself? But no matter what Hector said, Solomon hung his head and didn't move.

The look is that of a wounded beast, licking its wounds in solitude.

It was then that Hector noticed the difference in Solomon, how he looked so much like his old self.

He couldn't even imagine how he would survive if something happened to Solomon.

When Eloise leaves, he will have only one comfort for the rest of his life, and he will not allow anything to happen to him.

The father and son duo were just at a standstill.

In the end it was Eloise who couldn't look away and persuaded them to go back first.

Eloise followed her up, reassured by Solomon.

She got into the back seat while Solomon got into the passenger seat.

For a moment a strange feeling came over Eloise, was Solomon rejecting her?

But she soon dismissed the idea that there should have been a falling out with the Rogers family.

She knew that Solomon had found it and it was time for her to leave.

But somehow, she wanted to spend more time with him.

On the way back, Hector called his parents and teachers to inform them that the man had been found.

During this time, glancing at Solomon, he remained in the same position as before.

Hands wringing, head bowed, the whole thing lost to the core.

This is very disturbing to Hector.

When we arrived at the Rogers family, Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch were already waiting at the door.

As soon as she saw her precious grandson, Mrs Matriarch jumped on him and hugged Solomon with tears in her eyes. Solomon opened his mouth, but not a word came out.

A small frown of distress.

Mr Fletcher was also red-eyed, but he slowly saw that something was wrong.

Solomon's reaction was a little strange.

He looked icy, as if repulsed by Mrs Matriarch's embrace.

There has been a small struggle to get out of Mrs Matriarch's arms.
