If You Need Me (The Toronto Terror Series)

If You Need Me: Chapter 31

I wake up wrapped around Wilhelmina’s gloriously naked body. She’s warm and still asleep. I have no desire to leave the comfort of this bed, but today is a big day, full of amazing surprises, so I should really get a move on. Still, I lie there for another minute, basking in the glow that is my awesome life. The sex last night was transformative. The best sex of my life—especially round two when she let me make sweet, sweet love to her.

When my erection becomes a real problem and my need to relieve myself is too much to ignore, I carefully slip out of bed.

It takes me an irrationally long time to pee, and when I emerge, Wills is no longer in bed. Unfortunately, she’s also no longer naked. But she’s wearing one of my Terror shirts, and it skims the curve of her delightfully perfect ass. “What a gorgeous morning. Let’s make coffee and sit on the swing.” She stretches her arms over her head and yawns loudly. It doesn’t register that she’s already at the door until it’s too late.

“Honey, wait.” I hastily jam my legs through last night’s boxer shorts and nearly faceplant into the corner of the bed. As it is, I stumble across the room just in time for her to throw the door open. My mom stands at the base of the front porch, a tray of baked goods and fresh fruit in her hands, wearing a huge smile.

But it’s what lies beyond my mother that has Wills frozen to the spot.

One side of the yard is dotted with yurts, and the other side boasts picnic tables and a buffet full of breakfast foods. A huge shade tent has been set up near the water, and Muskoka chairs circle the fire pit, which still smolders. Shilpa, who’s talking animatedly with my dad, is the first to notice us. Her eyebrows rise as she takes us in.

Mom’s face lights up, despite our lack of clothing. “Oh good! You’re awake!”

Shilpa climbs the steps and envelops Wills in a tight hug. “Surprise!” She releases her, but doesn’t move aside, likely to shield Wills from everyone else’s eyes.

“What the heck is going on? Why is everyone here?”

“It’s your engagement party.” She hands Wills a bag. “There’s a shirt in there for you. Go put some clothes on and come join us. Then you can fill me in on last night.” She winks and pushes Wills towards me.

I snake a hand around her waist and tug her back into the cabin. “We’ll be out in a few.”

I pull the door closed, and she spins around. “Shilpa’s here.”

“Yeah. Most of our friends made it, except for Dred. She had to work, but she sends her love. Rix’s best friend Essie is here to do your make up if you want.”

“Essie’s here? She didn’t come from Vancouver for this, did she?”

“I think she’s looking for apartments because she’s transferring back to Toronto.” She’s a makeup artist and has been living on the west coast.

“Right. That makes sense.” Wills nods. “Who set this up?”

“My mom tossed around the idea of a party later in the summer, but your schedule is hectic, especially in August when you’re setting up fall promo. And you’ve been taking on more projects with the women’s team.” I run my hands down her arms. “I knew the reunion would be hard for you, and I thought it would be good to end the weekend with the people who have your back and adore you the way I do.”

Wills blinks up at me.

I’m pretty proficient at reading her moods, thanks to all the time I’ve spent obsessing over her, but I can’t decipher her expression. “Did I get it wrong? Is having your Babe Brigade here the wrong move?” I wanted to alleviate her stress, not add to it.

She shakes her head and presses her manicured fingers to her lips.

“Are you upset? Tell me what’s happening in your head.” I settle my hands on her shoulders.

“I’m not upset. I just… I have a lot of feelings, and they’re big,” she whispers.

“I can handle big feelings. I want all of them.” I make a come-on motion. I want to prove I’m the one she should trust, that I’ll keep her heart safe. “Lay them on me.”

She laughs, but drags her watery eyes to the ceiling. She props her hands on her hips.

“Seriously, I mean it. Bring on the feelings. I’ll take everything you’ve got. Even the ones that bite me.”

She blows out a breath. “I do not want to cry right now.”

I wrap my arms around her and pull her against me. She fits so perfectly, all her soft curves melding with my hard lines. “You can cry on me. I don’t care what kind of tears they are. They can be happy tears, overwhelmed ones, time-of-the-month tears, really-great-orgasm tears, or tears because your boyfriend invited all our friends to celebrate our fake engagement and you don’t know what to do with all the feelings you have.”

“Oh my God, you’re ridiculous.” She loops her arms behind my neck. “Thank you for inviting all of our friends. Fake engagement or not, it’s exactly what I need.”

“Good. I’m glad I got it right.” I press my lips to the top of her head. “I want you to feel supported. I’m sorry this weekend was hard for you, and I’m sorry it took me until last night to be honest about what happened.”

Willy leans back and looks up at me, eyes shining with unshed tears. “I’m sorry I couldn’t see what was right in front of me.”

I shake my head and stroke her cheek. “Don’t apologize. We have a long history, but hopefully a future too.”

She fingers the hair at the nape of my neck. One tiny tug, and I bend to her lips. It’s a soft kiss, filled with years of apology.

My hands have a mind of their own and slide down her back to cup her ass.

Wills pulls back, eyebrows pinched. “Wait a second.”

I arch one in question.

“There are yurts outside.”

“Yeah.” They almost showed up before we went to the reunion, but Ashish held them back until we’d vacated the premises.

“How long have our friends been here?”

“They started arriving after we left for the reunion,” I say.

“So they were here when we got back last night?”

“Yeah.”

“How come I didn’t notice them?” The question sounds more like an accusation.

“You were a bit preoccupied with getting me out of my clothes.”

She pinches my nipple. “Why didn’t you tell me then?” Her eyes go wide with horror and her voice drops to a whisper. “I was loud last night.”

“They were probably asleep already.”

They weren’t. I heard voices when we got back but chose to ignore them for obvious reasons.

She gives me a look.

“Honey.” I take her hand and kiss the back of the one with the ring on it. “The only people who slept over last night are our closest friends. No one will be upset with you for enjoying my ability to give you multiples.”

She gives me a look I’m entirely too familiar with, and it immediately makes me hard. “If you’d told me, I wouldn’t have been so…vocal.”

“I’m sorry.”

She purses her plush lips. “You’re not even a little sorry.”

I shake my head and then change it to a nod. “Okay, that was a lie. I’m not sorry that I fucked you the way I did, but I am sorry that you’re maybe a little upset with me for not spoiling the surprise.” I can’t resist those lips, so I don’t even try.

“What are you doing?”

“Apologizing.” I wrap my arm around her again. “With my lips.”

She softens and parts for me when I stroke the seam of her mouth. Her hands slide up my arms, pausing to squeeze my biceps for a moment before they continue to my shoulders. Her nails dig in as our tongues tangle, and she makes a small plaintive sound, like she’s annoyed with herself for enjoying it. Which makes sense, since there’s a pretty solid chance our friends heard her screaming my name last night. To be fair, in the moment I’d been too focused on how unbelievable it was to finally be inside the woman I’d been pining over for the past decade to worry about what they could or couldn’t hear.

When my hard-on pokes her in the stomach, she puts her hands on my chest to prevent me from claiming her mouth again. She glances between us, a sly smile curving her lips as she drags her nails down my chest. I watch her hand slide under the waistband of my boxer briefs and her gloriously warm, soft palm circle my erection.

She regards me with a knowing look. “Does irritating me excite you?”

“Everything about you excites me.” It’s the truth.

“Hmm… That’s a vague, safe answer.” Wills sinks to her knees on the wooden floor and frees my erection. “Be a good boy and push your boxers down, Dallas.”

Our friends can definitely wait. I’d like to ask her to take her shirt off. I’d also like to offer her a pillow so she’s not kneeling on the floor, but then she’d have to stop touching me.

Her tongue drags across her bottom lip, and she leans in. Her warm exhalation breaks across the head. My cock kicks in her fist. I groan as she turns her head and rubs her cheek against the shaft. There’s something so intensely sexy about seeing this badass, take-no-shit woman on her knees, nuzzling my cock like a happy cat. I want to bury my face between her thighs and make her come for hours as a thank you for being so amazing.

“You are so damn beautiful,” I grind out.

“Are you going to do exactly what I say?”

Anything. I love when she’s bossy. “Yes, Wills. Whatever you want. You can have it.”

Her lips brush over the tip, and my knees nearly buckle. “Too bad you didn’t tell me to temper my enthusiasm last night, otherwise I’d be inclined to help you with your problem.” She presses her lips against the head and then parts them, her actions contradicting her words as she applies brain-melting suction. The head disappears between her lips, and she swirls her tongue.

I almost embarrass the shit out of myself and come on the spot. One second her lips are wrapped around the head of my cock, and the next she’s tucking it back into my boxers and pushing to her feet.

“Why are you stopping?”

“Everyone’s out there waiting.” She pats me on the chest. “Don’t worry. My mouth isn’t going anywhere, and this will give you time to think about all the ways I’m going to use it on you later. A little punishment never hurt anyone. We should get dressed and go say hi to our friends.” She pinches my ass and tosses a saucy wink over her shoulder as she disappears into the bathroom and flips the lock.
