Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1075

managed to gather even half the fanbase Flora had. It was impossible not to feel a pang of jealousy!

The company had dropped her like a hot potato, and her agent had ditched her too. She felt like a drenched cat, lurking in the shadows. Meanwhile, Flora was basking in adoration, carrying herself like a queen. What made Flora so special? Even at her peak, she hadn't But going head-to-head with Flora? That wasn't in the cards. So, she set her sights on Cecelia instead. Taking a deep breath, she glanced at Liam Peyton, who was sitting beside her. This was their first time in such a swanky place, and it showed-they were both as jumpy as fish out of water, awkwardly trying to blend in.

Aisha had fretted over whether they'd even get in. She had jumped through hoops to snag three press passes. When they arrived, the tight security checks made her anxious all over again. But, in the end, a quick flash of their press badges was all it took to waltz right in. Aisha breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed like luck was on her side today.

Soon, she'd have Cecelia's reputation in tatters, just like hers had been. Florik Entertainment would be caught up in the mess from Cecelia's scandal.

Aisha thought she was laying low, not realizing she was already a laughingstock.

"Hey, Ms. Flora, that doofus is staring at us," Beck whispered to Flora, exuding cockiness. Flora didn't bother to reply; she was feeling a bit worn out. Connor was busy massaging her wrist. Signing so many autographs had left Flora's hand aching, but Connor had stepped in just in time. He'd called over Moss, who somehow managed to say a few words that sent the crowd scattering, albeit excitedly.

As Connor continued to massage her wrist, Flora seriously considered keeping a much lower profile. Their enthusiasm was borderline terrifying. Even with a mask and hat, trying to stay incognito, she was still spotted.

Over at the judges' table, Howell watched the whole scene, rubbing his forehead in resignation. He knew it. Anywhere Flora went, chaos followed. Before leaving today, Flora had told him not to let on that he knew her, saying she just wanted to enjoy the fashion show in peace. Clearly, she had underestimated her own celebrity status.

Henrik came back and took a seat on Flora's right, looking a bit exasperated. His little sister was just too much of a sensation. All the way there, all he heard were compliments about Flora.

Ten minutes later, the "Night of Destiny" fashion show kicked off. The live stream was up and running right on time. Viewers were ready, eagerly gathered around their screens. "Ah, it's starting! Go Rafael!"

"Cecelia, my dear! I love you! I love you!"

The chat was buzzing with

excitement. Most viewers were tuning in for their beloved

only a sprinkle genuine et

in the fashion.

"Wait, did I just see Goddess Flora?!"

"Where, where? I missed her! Where's my Flora?"

The cameraman, quick on his feet, zoomed in on Flora.

"It's really Flora! Flora! I'll have your babies!"

"The guy next to her, hands off my Flora! She's mine! All mine! [Emoji of Bai Zhan Tang holding a 'get out of jail free' card]"

Flora's popularity was through the

roof, causing the viewer count to skyrocket, hitting numbers several times higher than usual. The cameraman was floored by her star power she was a top-tier sensation, no doubt about it! But, ever the professional, he smoothly transitioned back to the runway. After all, the main event was the fashion show itself.

Ftarlight Entertainment was the first to present. The model they had was pretty run-of-the-mill, just a second-tier celeb, and the designs were nothing to write home about. Howell and the rest of the judges couldn't help but shake their heads in disappointment.
