Chapter And Joycelyn 75
Chapter 75 Chapter

Ellison's phone rang. William was calling.
He picked up the call, holding the phone to his ear,
Without turning on speakerphone, Joycelyn clearly heard the update from the other end.
Ruby wasn't in danger of dying, but her face was severely disfigured, and the situation wasn't looking good.
Joycelyn pouted, clearly unimpressed. 'Why would she call him this late? Looks like their relationship isn't as bad as it
seemed.'
A sudden feeling of uncase settled in her chest.
She felt her mouth go dry and reached for a white bottle sitting on Ellison's desk. Without thinking, she twisted off the cap and took a swig.
After a sip of water, she looked at him, still trying to hold her ground.
"Okay, got it," Ellison replied in a low voice.
Joycelyn, a bit jealous, moved quickly-too quickly for Ellison to stop her before it was too late.
She nearly downed the whole thing in one go.
As the liquid slid down her throat, she immediately regretted it. It wasn't water but alcohol.
Joycelyn quickly stopped herself, coughing twice, then held up the bottle to examine it.
The text was in some foreign language, but it certainly smelled like alcohol.
Joycelyn asked, "Is this alcohol?"
"I just grabbed whatever was handy," Ellison said, as if it were no big deal.
Just moments ago, he had exuded an air of seriousness, but now all his attention was drawn to Joycelyn's actions.
He snatched the sleek bottle from her hand.
"Drinking during your period? What are you thinking?" Ellison said.
"Ah, alcohol... Oh my..." Joycelyn, who had been so energetic just a moment ago, suddenly felt her body
go
Her head started to swim, and a rosy flush crept up her cheeks.
The alcohol hit her like a ton of bricks.
Joycelyn said, "Why are you still holding me? Weren't you supposed to be with your beauty?"
She let out an accidental burp, not even realizing how bitter her words sounded.
"What beauty?" Ellison asked.
Ellison's eyes glinted at the change in her tone-soft, yet tinged with irritation.

He looked at her, scrutinizing her face.
Joycelyn said, "Isk, you forgot about her right after hanging up your phone?
Joycelyn felt dizzy, her gaze faltering as she briefly met Ellison's eyes before quickly looking away,
He immediately reached out to steady her before she could collapse onto the desk.
But she pulled her hand away angrily. "Don't touch me."
Ellison's gaze darkened, and with a firm grip, he held her soft hand.
He said, "Stop pretending. You're not fooling me."
Joycelyn said, "Fooling you? I think you have poor eyesight. I've always been cute
She grinned sheepishly, then gave him an exaggeratedly cute look.
One drink, and she was already out of her mind.
Ellison chuckled softly, his deep voice a low rumble that made Joycelyn smile foolishly in return.
"I heard you had a class reunion today. A lot of people you had a crush on, huh? Not going to expzin? Since she wasn't talking, he decided to ask.
Ellison's previously gentle and affectionate eyes narrowed, his brow furrowed, now radiating an aura of interrogation
Joycelyn stared at him blankly, offering no answer.
"What's with that look? Here, let me give you something to eat," she said, extending her tiny arm toward him.
Ellison's gaze darkened. He eyed the delicate white arm before opening his mouth to nibble at it
"Ah, are you a dog? Why are you biting me?" Joycelyn blinked, feeling confused, though Ellison hadn't bitten her too hard.
"You're asking for it." Ellison's voice was deep as he scolded her.
"You and Ms. Wilson are classmates, right? She's in trouble, and you're staying up late to check on her. What about you?" Joycelyn pouted in annoyance, clearly getting worked up.
She placed her arm on Ellison's home clothes and rubbed it, looking disgusted.
She had the audacity to treat the president's high-quality homewear like a rag.
"I've never been bitten before." Joycelyn pouted, her face flushed, clearly starting to relax a little too much.
"So, I'm your first bite, huh?" Ellison smirked, his voice teasing but calm despite her casual disregard for him.
Without thinking, Joycelyn leaped onto him like a little lion, landing directly in his arms.
Caught off guard, Ellison stumbled back.
Joycelyn, undeterred, bit down on his neck, sharp and unrelenting.

Ellison barely managed to catch her in time, wrapping an arm around her waist to prevent her from falling.
After biting him, Joycelyn rested against him, her bright eyes meeting his.
Her hair slipped across his neck, sending a shiver down his spine.
Ellison tightened his grip slightly, his breath quickening.
"Guess you're blaming me now." Ellison rubbed his sore neck. "Joycelyn, you've had a drink, and now you're feeling unreasonable, huh?"
Ellison couldn't help but notice that, after just one drink, she had let loose all her hidden mischievousness and started causing trouble.
Her unruly, somewhat bratty attitude was oddly endearing.
"Not being reasonable?" Ellison reached out to pinch her flushed cheek.
"Yeah, not being reasonable. What are you going to do about it?" Her words were laced with the scent of fruity alcohol.
Ellison said, "Are you jealous?"
"Nope. I'm just drunk," Joycelyn denied it, clearly not willing to admit to her feelings.
"Ugh, my head hurts so much," Joycelyn groaned.
The alcohol had given her a pounding headache, and she felt miserable.
"Are you starting your act now?" Ellison raised an eyebrow as he watched her exaggerated performance. His large hand gently rested on her soft waist.
His touch said it all. Joycelyn almost burst out laughing.
"You know what I admire most about you?" she said, wrapping her arms around his neck and gently swaying.
Her sweet, soft voice was like candy, lingering on his mind long after the words were spoken.
Ellison leaned into her touch, pulling her closer to him, his voice hoarse as he asked, "What?"
"What I admire most is how shameless you are. You look like an innocent man, but underneath that suit is a real rogue."
Ellison's eyes narrowed dangerously. She hadn't complimented him, but she sure had spoken the truth. "Seems like you really know me."
"Well, I kind of like it..." Joycelyn murmured, leaning in closer.
Her warm breath brushed against his chin, sending a shiver through him.
"Mm?" Ellison softened, his eyes glowing with affection. He lowered his gaze to the drunken woman in his
arms and whispered, "Say that again. I want to hear it."
As she leaned in, her lips grazed his chin, but when Ellison tried to kiss her, she pulled away.
It was all so teasing.
