Chapter 11
"Come and take a seat, Guys," Damon invited his brother and the other newcomers to join them. The men's eyes widened. One of them smirked, nodding slightly as he looked her up and down. But one of Jayce's mates stared at her face and frowned. "Erm... is that girl even legal?"
"Yeah, Man," Damon assured him. "She's a year older than me. It's all good."
Freida had no idea what was about to happen now, but Jayce's reaction was the strangest thing to happen that night.
"It's not fine," Jayce whispered, shaking his head. He took a knee beside his brother and spoke quietly to him. Freida couldn't overhear everything that he was saying, because other people were talking at the same time, but he seemed to be pleading with Damon to stop this behaviour.
"She's a human being, Damon," he said. "Don't be doing this shit. It's messed up. This is the kinda shit I've seen really bad people do. You don't want to be one of those people, Damon."
Damon leered over him, whispering something that she couldn't hear. Whatever he said quickly put a stop to Jayce's advice-giving speech. He got up and beckoned his companions to the kitchen, shutting the door behind them. The pervy guy who was looking her up and down tutted in disappointment but followed Jayce when he called him to hurry up.
"What shall we do with her now then boys?" Damon asked, clapping his hands together and grinning wildly. Whatever his brother had said to him, he had clearly decided to ignore.
She felt her heart sink. What would they do to her next?
'I don't think I can take any more of this,' she thought. She was too tired. Too humiliated.
"I know... I'll make you practise giving blowjobs on my friends, since you're so bad at it," Damon said with a cruel smirk.
'Oh, God, please no,' she thought, freezing in place. The thought of it made her sick. It wasn't so bad doing it to Damon, because honestly... he was kind of hot in a weird way, as much as she hated to admit that.
But his friends were not. Ben was technically good-looking in a very clean-cut, pretty bot kind of way, but he was not her type at all. And the other two were just... gross, to put it plainly.
Damon looked at his friends, who thankfully, did not seem keen on the idea of getting their dicks out in public. They were probably not going to do it, which was good news to freida. "Come on, I bet you want to," Damon pressured. "Ben?"
Ben sighed. "I'm not doing that in front of you. If I can take her to your room then, yeah, sure... why the hell not?"
"Have fun, kids," Damon said, laughing and leaning back and pushing open the door to the hallway.
As Freida followed Ben, she had a strange feeling of guilt.
'But why do I feel bad?' she thought. 'It's not like I actually have a boyfriend. I have a guy who has a wife and hasn't spoken to me in weeks.'
She walked into Damon's bedroom and stood, waiting for Ben to say something.
"Sit down if you want and relax for a bit," Ben said, taking a seat on the bed. "I thought you might want to get out of there."
Then he took out his phone and started scrolling through shorts, laughing intermittently.
"Oh," Freida said, feeling a wave of relief wash over her as she sat beside Ben.
After a minute, he looked up from his phone and started asking her questions.
"So... how did you get yourself into this whole mess?" he wanted to know.
Freida gave a brief account of the last few day's events, leaving out most of the details as Ben listened intently, eyes wide in shock.
"Wow, I can't lie--you've really put yourself in a pretty shitty position." Ben smiled in sympathy.
"Tell me about it," she said with a dry laugh.
She looked down for a moment, fiddling with a loose thread hanging from Damon's bed. This was a weird situation and she wasn't sure how to react.
"Erm... thank you... for, you know." She shrugged and waved her arms. "For doing this. Honestly... I'm grateful."
"He'll get bored of tormenting you eventually," Ben said, reassuring her. "I'll have a word with him. See if I can get him to ease up a bit. He rarely listens to anyone but if anyone has a shot, it's me." Freida felt her heart melting. This Ben guy was turning out to be her knight in shining armour.
"Thank you," she gushed, placing a hand on her heart. "That is super kind of you. I really appreicate this."
He shrugged it off. "It's nothing."
They chatted for a little longer about random topics before Ben said they best get back downstairs.
Freida did not want to go, but she also didn't want to make Damon suspicious.
When she got downstairs, the lads made some 'oh so funny' comments but Ben just went shy and batted them away as if they had done it and he was embarrassed. His acting was so good he could do it for a profession. Freida glanced up at the big, round clock that hung by the fireplace. It was late. Her mum would be home soon.
'What if she walks by and sees me?' Freida thought with horror.
She looked over at Damon, who was observing her with a half-smile.
"Please can I go home now?" she asked, lacing her fingers together. "Please?"
"Come here," he said, waving a finger at her. She crawled over to where he was sitting.
She cried out in pain as he grabbed a fist full of her hair and pulled her in so close she could see the flecks of gold in his eyes.
"You go when I say you can go," he spat.
"My mum will be home soon," she explained, throwing a fearful glance over at the large windows. "Please, Damon? Please let me go. Please say yes."
"If I say no... you'll stay here as long as I want, won't you?" he asked, cocking his head to the side.
