Betrayed Luna's Fated Mate

I woke Celeste with kisses to her neck, and she moaned softly before turning and smiling up at me. "Did I fall asleep?" she groaned, rubbing her eyes and sitting up. I sat down on the bed beside her. "Yeah, but that's okay. It's your birthday you can spend it however you want," I chuckled before I reached out and placed my hand on her slightly rounder stomach.

We had waited a few years before we began making the family I had always wanted. Now that there was no threat looming and we had peace ruling once more, Celeste was no longer worried. However, I knew sometimes she thought about where Zack might have ended up and if he was ruining another Celeste and Brendon, but if he was, then he could only do it once more. He wouldn't be able to ruin more after that, and while I would rather not think of a life where we weren't together, Celeste couldn't travel anymore either. Yet I had begun wondering if this might run in the blood. Maybe our child would be a traveler, or maybe not. It wouldn't change how much I loved them and their mother. "What are you thinking?" she asked, reaching out to caress my cheek.

"Just that I love you so much," I whispered, and she pulled me to her, kissing my lips.

"I love you too. So much," she replied.

"Do you want to sleep more, or should we go out?"

"I would like to go out."

I helped her out of bed, and she smiled up at me. I truly was a looking wolf, having been bestowed with Celeste, and as I had already promised myself long ago, I would do everything to show my appreciation for her for the rest of my life. She deserved nothing less.

"Do you ever wonder if our child might be able to do the same as me?" Celeste asked as she went to get her shoes and jacket.

I chuckled a little, as I had just wondered that exact thing.

"What?" she asked when she came back to me.

"Sometimes," I replied.

"Would it bother you?"

I shook my head. "No, but we should probably prepare them, in case they do turn out like their amazing mother."

She smiled sweetly at me and came to kiss me.

"I'm amazing?"

"More than amazing, beautiful. I can't put it into words. I'm a lucking wolf."

"We are both lucky."

She pulled me to her again, and while we were supposed to go out, we decided to stay in instead. The End.
