A One Night Stand With My Boss ( Maia Sanchez )

Chapter 389

When it came to washing Camila's hair, her straight, long locks flowed down like a dark waterfall, giving off a faint, sweet scent. Connor gently massaged her scalp, letting the shampoo suds slowly spread through her hair. With her eyes closed, Camila couldn't help but picture Connor carefully washing delicate lingerie. The typically privileged Mr. Connor was now attentively washing her hair, a stark and heartwarming contrast that brought a sweet warmth to her heart.

Connor's short hair was quick to wash and dry.

After finishing the wash, Connor wrapped Camila's hair in a soft towel before helping her rinse off. Changing into pajamas, Camila sat at the vanity while Connor stood behind her, picking up the hairdryer to start drying her hair. He adjusted the temperature and speed of the dryer, gently brushing through her long hair.

Watching him in the mirror, Camila couldn't help but smile, "You're getting quite good at this, Mr. Connor."

Connor grinned, "Well, gotta keep my skills sharp to keep my esteemed guest happy."

Camila turned to look at him, "Does that mean I should tip you for your dedicated service?"

Connor nodded seriously, "That would be nice, maybe something substantial, like..."

"Work tomorrow," Camila interjected.

Connor turned off the hairdryer and kissed the top of her head, playfully tousling her hair. "No substantial reward, no more service."

Camila felt her hair, perfectly dry. "My turn to dry your hair."

Connor replied, "My hair is short, it'll dry in no time."

Camila stood up and gently pushed him into the seat, "Sit down, it's my turn to show off my skills. You might learn something."

She picked up the hairdryer,

beginning to dry Connor's hair with a gentle and skilled touch, as if she were a professional stylist. When she reached the back of his head Camila noticed a small scar. She leaned in closer, examining it before exclaiming, "Hey, I just noticed you have a small scar here."

Connor paused, then smiled, "Yeah, remember I told you about that motorcycle accident? That's where this scar came from."

Camila tenderly touched the scar, softly asking, "Did it hurt a lot at the time?"

Connor chuckled, "I passed out, didn't feel a thing."

"Maybe avoid motorcycles from now on," Camila suggested. "They're too dangerous. I've seen some nasty accidents, scared me half to death."

Connor advised, "Stay away from such incidents in the future."

Camila frowned, shaking her head, "I'm braver than that! There was this newly opened road near my place, hardly anyone used it. A man had crashed into the sea, maybe hitting a rock. His face was bloody, floating in the water. I pulled him out and called for help. Without that, he would have drowned long before help arrived. Saving a life is more heroic than anything."

Connor's brow furrowed slightly, his breathing quickened, and he asked in a tense voice, "That was on the coastal road near your house?" Camila nodded, "Yes."

Connor's heartbeat sped up as he stared at Camila, his voice trembling slightly, "It was just one man? You didn't see a woman?"
