300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets

Chapter THE STORMCLAW'S POINT OF VIEW

Third Person Pov:

"If we have to get Hazel, we need to find a way to lure her out of school," Kai said, and the others nodded as they rallied around, thinking of a foolproof solution that would convince her to leave school with them.

"How about we tell her that Bella wants to see her? We could say we're sneaking into the house... something like that." Finn suggested, and after a while, they all agreed to it since they didn't have anything better.

Kai and Finn agreed to go to Hazel's room together while Ryder was to get the car started. The moment the twins left, and Ryder grabbed his keys, he spotted Hazel through the window in front of the dorm, causing him to pull out his phone.

"She's in front of the dorm, and we need to leave right away!" He rushed out of the room, almost colliding with the twins in the hallway as they made their way to the elevator.

As soon as it stopped on the ground floor, they raced to the front door, ducking behind a flower the moment they saw Sebastian's car pull up, and Hazel got into the backseat. When the car moved a bit, they rushed to Ryder's car, piling into it while they trailed the car slowly but steadily until they reached their destination in front of an abandoned library.

Sebastian parked in front of the old library, his floodlights capturing the ivy-covered walls with overgrown grass and broken windows around. As the car came to a halt, they all stepped out, looking around to make sure no one had followed them.

Ryder, who saw Sebastian take a turn, waited a while before parking a few blocks away. Then they made their way down the street, using the dimming light of the evening and bushes for cover until they slipped into the library.

Fae's group was already in the main reading room of the library while Ryder and his group tiptoed inside, holding back the dust in their nostrils, trying to stay as silent as possible as they ducked behind shelves. They stopped near the door of the main reading room.

"What took you so long?" Nyx spoke, causing the triplets to glance at each other.

There was a fourth person in the room, which left them curious.

"Nyx, we're so sorry. We had to wait for Hazel, and..."

"You make an appointment with me, and yet you can't show up on time!" she said in a loud tone, which startled the three of them, but Fae tried to maintain her stance. She didn't like Nyx that much, but since she got the job done, she wasn't complaining too much.

"I already gave you what you wanted. Hazel is under my spell, and you got the girl out of school. What else could you possibly want, and do you not know when to stop?" she asked Fae, who wrinkled her brows.

"Hey, watch it. We're paying you for this, and that's no way to speak to people who you provide services for!" she raised her tone at Nyx, who rolled her eyes.

"Tell your friend that if she speaks to me like a mannerless brat one more time, she might not make it out of here alive," Nyx said to Sebastian, who reached for Fae's hands, but she slapped his hand away.

There was a moment of silence before Fae took a deep breath and spoke.

"It may seem crazy, but all this is about the Ashcrofts. I wasn't born some mean girl, and all I wanted was to be Luna because from birth I was prepared for it. My father raised me with firm hands and told me I would become Luna to uphold the Stormclaw's name after being robbed hundreds of years ago of our title."

Ryder scrunched up his face when he heard this.

"What is she talking about?" he mouthed, trying to be as quiet as possible.

"I... I don't understand," Hazel shook her head.

"It all started during the first division that pushed vampires to the curb after they tried to take Moonfire and enslave werewolves. Stormclaws were supposed to be Alphas because when Frost Pack was still called the Southern Region, my family invested heavily in it, and we were close with the vampires. But lo-and-behold, when the werewolves won, the Ashcrofts, who were the third family in command in the Western part, which is now Rune pack, were put in charge, leaving my family hanging. Haven't you wondered why my family holds so much power, and yet I'm neither from the Alpha or Beta family? Because we built this pack! I don't care much about the history of the other two packs, but the same was done to them. I don't think any family was pushed to the curb like mine. The Thorne Pack was the dominant home of vampires, and werewolves were scared to live there, just like the Rune Pack was the dominant home for werewolves."

When she finished, everyone looked at her with wide eyes, and they all shared the same thought: how crazy she was.

"But your family is recognized to this day and holds a high social standing," Sebastian said, and she turned to him, her brows furrowing.

"Everyone in this room has the right to judge me except you, Sebastian!" she gritted her teeth. "Your father is the Beta, and yet you are power hungry and want Bella by all means so you can be Alpha, not even because you truly love her. You killed her best friend in the process. But I loved Ryder, even though I roped him into a lot of bad things. I loved him. It killed me when Bella turned out to be his mate. I knew there was supposed to be a triple mate bond, so I tried to be close to the twins too, but I loved Ryder! So who are you to question me?" she fumed, causing Sebastian to back away with his hands raised.

"Hey! Cut it out!" Nyx yelled, and Fae leaned on a table, taking a deep breath.

This was the most vulnerable she had been, and she hated what it was doing to her.

"Irrespective of the fact that you are a brat and I don't like you, I enjoy when the villain in the story gets what they want, because it sucks being a good person. So, what do you want?" Nyx asked, placing a hand on Fae's shoulder.

Fae looked up at her, holding back the tears that threatened to fall.

"I really don't know, just something that will make him love me. I'm supposed to be Luna, and I have to." She began. "Maybe an illusion spell. Something that will make him see me as Bella," she said, and they all looked at her with raised brows.

"It's a fucking triple bond," Hazel, who was getting impatient, breathed.

"Then I want all three of them!"

"That is one crazy bitch you got yourself," Finn cut through the silence that lingered on their drive back home.

Ryder, who couldn't shake how evil Fae was, kept his hands steady on the wheel, struggling to believe he once loved her.

"This isn't the time to joke, and I'm calling Bella right now," Kai said as he plugged his phone into the speaker, making a video call.

"Hey," they all said to Bella, apart from Ryder, who was still lost.

"What's wrong with him?" Bella asked with a crumpled face, and the twins proceeded to tell her, causing horror to drain her entire body.

She couldn't believe how power-hungry these people were, and she wondered if the positions were to be contested, how much they would kill to get there. Suddenly, thoughts of Hazel's aunt crossed Bella's mind.

"Something happened to me when we visited your grandma at the Dusk Pack...." she began the story, then ended by saying. "We need to call her now to make a quick trip down here, as she may be the only hope Hazel has. I don't think I can compel someone under a witch's spell."

Finn took out his phone at once and placed a call to his grandma.

"I'm sorry, but Halle left a few days ago for a job, and she doesn't really say much about her whereabouts. I wish I

could help."

"It's okay, grandma."

When the call ended, Bella hung her head in sadness, biting her nails as she wondered what to do next.

Suddenly, a knock came at her door.

"She's here," her mother said, causing Bella to whisper a quick goodbye to the guys as she tossed her phone aside

and sat up.

The moment Evelyn opened the door, Hazel's aunt, Halle, walked in...
