300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets

Chapter LITTLE MISS PERFECT

Third Person Pov:

"They are so fast," Ryder said, glancing at his phone. His words caught Bella's attention, and she looked over at him. "You haven't even been back at school for five minutes, and you're already on the blog."

He pushed the screen of his phone closer to her, interrupting her as she arranged her clothes, one hand holding a hanger in her closet. She tilted her head, trying to get a good look at what the blog had posted.

It was a picture of her walking with the alpha's men as they helped carry her boxes upstairs.

"Fresh from suspension, and hotter than ever."

A chuckle escaped Bella's lips as she reached into the open box at her feet and pulled out a shirt, draping it over a hanger.

"At least they think I'm hot," she said with a shrug, placing the hanger into the wardrobe.

At that moment, the door swung open, and the twins walked in, heading straight toward Bella.

"Everyone at school knows our girlfriend is back, except us," Finn said, his voice tinged with jealousy, while Kai stood beside him, arms crossed.

Bella wrapped both of them into a brief hug, planting a quick kiss on each of their cheeks.

"How come I didn't get that? I helped carry your stuff," Ryder complained then Bella rolled her eyes.

"And yet I still haven't gotten anywhere. My stuff is all over the place," she replied, her gaze sweeping over the cluttered room. Ryder went quiet, walking toward one of the unopened boxes.

As Ryder reached for the box, Bella's eyes widened in panic. She tossed the hangers she was holding onto the floor and darted past the twins, her heart pounding in her chest.

"No!" she shouted, but the words came too late. Ryder had already opened the box, revealing a cooler filled with bags of blood. Bella froze mid-step, her breath catching in her throat.

She raised a hand to her forehead, staring down at her feet as the room fell into an uncomfortable silence. The triplets all turned to look at her. Just then, the door swung open again, and Hazel walked in, rushing over to pull Bella into an enthusiastic hug, oblivious to the tension in the room.

Only when she was close enough did Hazel notice Ryder's stunned expression. She quickly pulled away from Bella. "Are you going to compel us to forget?" Ryder broke the silence, his voice soft but pointed. Bella sighed deeply, meeting his eyes.

"I mean, the way you shouted made it pretty obvious you didn't want us to find out that you're part vampire and need blood to survive," Ryder continued, closing the lid of the box with a thud.

"I'm sorry, and I didn't know how you guys would feel about the blood. I thought you'd be disgusted," Bella confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. Kai scoffed, shaking his head.

"We know what you are, Bella. That didn't stop us from being with you. How is this supposed to disgust us?" he asked, his gaze meeting hers.

A heavy silence settled over them. Hazel, who had been brimming with excitement when she first entered the room, now looked deflated as she quietly made her way to Bella's bed, sitting down.

"Bella, we've said this a million times-no more secrets. But it seems like that's not getting through," Finn added with frustration ringing in his voice.

Bella nodded, her fingers playing with the sleeve of her blazer. "Look, I'm sorry. My mother got them for me. She wanted to push me to embrace her lie of needing to remain in vampire side more. She even bought me this bracelet," she explained, pulling back her sleeve to reveal a pink charm bracelet wrapped around her wrist. "It's extra daylight protection, so I can go out more."

The tension in the air still felt thick and suffocating, so Bella tried to ease it with a slight smile. "Plus, it's just a lot of blood, and I didn't want to freak you guys out."

"Do we look like we're freaking out?" Ryder chimed in, causing Bella to let out another sigh.

"Fine, I'll tell you everything. Next time I go hunting, I'll take you guys with me, and I won't compel you like I do to Hazel when I force her to go with me," she said, casting a playful glance at Hazel.

"What?" Hazel's face twisted in confusion as she stood up from the bed.

"I'm joking," Bella said quickly, even though she wasn't entirely joking.

The tension finally eased as soft laughter filled the room.

"You can help me put the blood bags in the freezer," Bella told Ryder, who nodded and began moving. The twins wandered over to another box, opening it to reveal a plastic bag of freshly baked and sliced chocolate cake. They unwrapped the bag, causing the rich aroma of the cake to fill the air quickly.

"There's one for everyone," Bella said as they opened the plastic bag, pulling out the slices. They passed them around, leaving two pieces for Bella and Ryder.

"So much for helping me," Bella muttered as she glanced at Finn, Kai, and Hazel, who had already curled up on her bed, devouring their cake.

"I missed you, Bella. And I missed Fae is the worst thing that's happened to me." Hazel groaned. "URGH! I can't stand her whining," Hazel complained, her mouth full of cake as she swallowed and licked her lips.

Ryder entered the room just as Hazel finished speaking.

"Here," Bella said, handing him a slice of cake before he could start to complain.

"I wasn't going to complain about that," he said, and Bella raised a brow at him. "For now." He added, taking a bite of the cake.

"There's a party tonight, by the way. I was wondering if you guys wanted to go," Ryder added between bites.

"No!" Bella's voice rang out just as the twins said, "Yes!" in unison. They all looked at her, surprised.

"I just got back, and I think I need some rest," Bella explained. Then Hazel's phone beeped.

"Fae's going to be at the party," Hazel said, showing Bella her phone. "She wants me there."

Bella took the phone from her and read the message.

"I heard Little Miss Perfect is back, and I can't wait to see the look on her face when the triplets worship me and toss her aside like garbage at the party."

Bella's entire body tensed at the words.

"Oh, she's so on," Bella growled, handing Hazel back her phone. She turned to Ryder. "What time is this party?"
